Im a 20 year old guy. On paper, I seem to be doing too well for myself. I am a university student, often getting above average marks. I have a part time job that I have been a part of for 2 years now. I go to the gym, and have lost 40kg since I started. I go out with friends to the city. I drive my own car. It sounds like I got my shit together, but in reality I am always just barely holding it all. In university, every single assignment is always done in the week its due, even if I am given an entire semester. Everytime I do my job, I am always a few minutes late to clock in and to clock out (Janitor, so I work alone). The gym, I am always going to incredibly late because I put it off all day. I struggle with actually getting things done, I will do anything but. My room is always a mess, my car too. I shave only when I have to, not daily like I should. My work is always done when I have no choice but to do it. Every single part of my life is defined by this lateness, of which I am also chronically late to everything! The worst part is that it still works. I still get good enough grades, my car and room is never messy enough to where its actually a hazard, i go to the gym enough to where i still get results, I do okay enougu in everything but everytime I want to actually accomplish something, whether thats for work, uni or me learning guitar or another artform, I will always always put it off. But I know that if every task didnt make me so sleepy or feel like a slog to get through, I would be the best there is. I would be the top of my class, I would have a beautiful room, I would have gotten good at the guitar, I would be getting my work done on time or even early. I just am so frustrated with myself. I got so mad at myself last night whilst planning how to do my essay because rather then getting it done in the 3 weeks since my last assignment in short bursts, ive given myself 2 days to do an essay worth 40%. My previous assignment was a presentation i started and finished the morning it was due and when i gave the presentation, I still got an 80%. I hate that this works, I hate how it is not bad enough to motivate me to change but not good enough for me to feel good. I am undiagnosed adhd but anyone who read this far can 100% understand the feeling. Is there any thing I can do to at least get good at doing my assignments on time?

For my final university assignment, I have to film and edit a 3-5 minute long video on a chosen topic (Journalism degree). Initially I was going to use capcut but I'd like to find some other options for video editing, ideally without AI shit. Not only am I against it, I want to be able to have full control of my end product and I am unsure if products like Capcut is using AI whilst I am editing. I get a fail if I use AI, so if there's anything out there that doesn't have it, that would be beautiful.

Pretty much just title. I want to get into making my own jewelry but also i do not have the funds for that right now. Only places i have found in perth that sell things i like are costume shops with cheap material or depop (aka temu with extra steps most of the time).

Decided to turn on motion controls on re8 and i like the concept however it feels like just my analog stick. Its not sensitive enough, so ill probably turn it back off and after some research it seems like a lot of games on console have gyro aiming be akin to the analogue stick whereas good gyro is like a mouse? I hope that's correct. Either way, it got me curious about it as I'd love to have more precision on console for fun, so what games have good gyro controls on the ps5?

I have always wanted to make my own series, not sure if manga is what id call it but its definitely more related to manga then american comics, and while my visual art skills fucking suck I am a damn good writer, so I thought I could maybe One method this and just make the art anyway improving over time as I work on my stories, like one shots and the like. Not sure if I'd publish them, that's another story. However, I dont really know where to look to find what I need to get this started. Irl, what pens would I need? What paper? And if i could do it on my computer, what would i need there? What program and tablet, etc?

It feels like the game settings get turned down a little too much, like a LOT of the grass is gone, the fences all are solid until youre within 10 metres of it which is very noticable and the lighting is signfiicantly more uninteresting. Game looks beautiful off of it, so I know the game look pretty but it just feels like the performance mode is way too focused on performance. I am only on the first area however so maybe its just the one area that looks bad?

Hi all, I am a uni student doing a presentation on Trauma in Journalists. As it is a serious subject, I want to find a illustration set that I can use to convey these ideas and themes without making it seem to contrasting (which is what a lot of the art styles I find are, they are too lighthearted considering I am going to be spending about 20 minutes talking about death, war, car crashes and suicide rates). Absurd . design is a website I found that has the perfect art style but its paid in Euros, and the Aussie dollar would double tjat price. So, is there anywhere I can look that is either blank enough emotionally so that it wont contrast the themes or serious / absurd enough to where it compliments the ideas behind the presentation? Thanks!
