We bought about 5 or 6 botanical sets to use for our wedding centerpieces, here's just one of vases we made!
They look more or less all the same, lots of sunflower sets and wildflower sets!
Thanks Palmer Scott, my best man absolutely loved his gift lol. He did not expect this at all!
A couple months ago Palmer was here selling signed photos and immediately jumped on it to get this for my best man at my wedding last month. Not a single other person understood this but he couldn't stop laughing
Working with a local on a custom sign for a VHS tape design. Is there anything else I can add to it?
He said there's not enough room where the label is to put a genre tag like "horror", i feel like it's missing something though especially for the price of a custom sign. I like it as-is but I'm STILL waiting to hear on a repair i dropped off a couple months ago somewhere else
Finally got this week's vhs and dvd pickups on the shelf. What are you grabbing to watch tonight? 374 dvds and 153 tapes, all horror!
Finally got this week's additions onto the shelf. Still need to add this week's dvd pickups onto the dvd shelf! 153 tapes and 374 dvds, all horror!
My 2 favorite decks in my collection! Fallout New Vegas featuring chips, cards and artwork from each in game casino and characters, weapons and factions and Star Citizen with a sleep futuristic design and ship models
Went thrifting today and found some casino used cards! 1986 Ballys in Reno Nevada and French Lick resort and casino!
Saw another really cool neon sign for sale today and yet again its half broken :( the motion part worked at least!
Went thrifting today and found more neon and this was the only non beer one there was, would've bought it if it was fully working
Thanks to those that recommended Joe Casanova as a barber!
I had been VERY reluctant to step foot back into that shop because of the guy who owned it before, finally sucked it up and took everyone's recommendation on Joe and couldn't be more glad I did.
I tried other spots and they were either too far away or just didn't click with me.
3 more pickups today and 1 more for the rare pile, Zipperface! 521 movies total between vhs and dvd
I hope I'm not celebrating early but i think my oral thrush is officially gone after 3 months of fighting it! My journey lol
Keep in mind I'm also 9 months into a tooth pain from a failed filling while dealing with this and the dentist wouldn't work on me while the infection is ongoing
About 3 months ago or so i burned my tongue testing the doneness of a French fry right out the oven which I'm sure was the catalyst for this 3 months of hell and what i assumed was the tongue healing from the burn taking longer than usual was actually the beginning of an oral thrush infection.
For a few weeks the tongue hurt and the cottony feeling i normally get with a healing burn didn't alert me to anything except for how long it was taking to heal. Some days it didn't feel too bad. Woke up one day with an extremely dry mouth feeling like never before and looked in the mirror and my tongue was COVERED in white!
That same day i did a cheap teledoc (no insurance) and sent pictures and they confirmed oral thrush and got prescribed a week long course of Nystatin mouthwash. That stuff was so damn nasty and i couldn't finish it and slowed down when things were starting to clear up.
When I finally finished the nystatin my tongue still didnt feel right but figured it was gone and just healing. It came back in full force 2 days later. Went back to teledoc, they sent over more Nystatin even though I requested Fluconazole and got a week's worth of Fluconazole. I also requested 2 weeks of fluconazole but only got the 1. Same thing happened. The week of my wedding the pill cleared it up enough to get my tooth refilled and enjoy the food at the wedding but 1 week wasnt enough and it came back again!
13 days ago i go back to the teledoc and prescribed 2 weeks of clotrimazole lozenges, much easier to take than the nystatin but still sucks to keep up with it 5 times a day as opposed to a tasteless daily pill.
Tomorrow is the last day of the prescription and my tongue hasnt felt this normal since it all started. I got scared by healing pains and sensitivity as the thrush coming back but it was just peeling skin and not the white patches. It feels like its finally gone and i guess ill find out in about a week if its gone for good!
TLDR; 3 months and 3 different prescriptions, nystatin tastes like ass, 1 week of each wasnt long enough, clotrimazole lozenge might finally be the trick!
Do casinos not sell used decks anymore? I used to collect old drilled casino card decks and this is the only one i have left and every casino I've been to lately doesn't sell them
Our wedding is finally over and I wish I knew about or someone told me about post-wedding blues
The day itself went great and mostly nothing went wrong and everyone that showed up had a great time.
After a year of planning, many ups and downs, heartbreaks and heartaches, frustrations, the day of and the days after i am feeling extremely down and depressed and all i can think about are the things that went wrong during all of this, all of my groomsmen that backed out, all my family and friends that didnt show up and the many other things that went wrong during planning.
Even the honeymoon got messed up due to our airbnb having their yard torn up a week early on the weekend we were supposed to have it causing us to get relocated to a much worse area and house.
Since we got back to normal life and back to work and no more planning, phone calls, messages, emails, meetings, fittings, crafting, planning, designing etc etc, ive been profoundly and extremely sad and depressed. Apparently this is normal but I'm always sad, anxious and depressed but even more so now. Like everything is just gone, the spotlight isnt on us anymore, no more people asking us how things are going with planning. No more people reaching out asking if they can help, no more congragulations and well-wishes, just an abrupt stop after a whole year of stress and planning
