Regardless of how the movie turned out, can we all agree that Milly Alcock did fantastic as Kara with the material she's given?

While I have some issues with this film (the undercooked plot, how the movie looked and questionable writing decisions) and the fact that it bombed at the box office is unfortunate, Milly Alcock's portrayal of Supergirl isn't one of them and I think it's the saving grace.

Her performance as Kara really embodied her identity and all she's going through emotionally, while being such a unique character and not just Superman's drunk clingy cousin. Easily hard carried the movie for me.

I do hope her iteration appears on future DCU projects starting in Man of Tomorrow, even as a side character. And hopefully the people in the writing room learn the right lessons from this and lock in

Contender for one of the most forgettable comicbook villains, objectively and visually. I hate that he looks like a random punk from GOTG

As a massive fan of the comic I couldn't help but feel disappointed with how Krem looked. Its like one of the ravagers Star-lord would make fun of before he obliterates him. He sticks out like a sore thumb, and his comic counterpart is more superior. What was so hard from making the actor with the red hair look when he's already so similar-looking with the comic look in hindsight? Still dont get this creative decision

In Supergirl (2026) Kara feeds Krypto cereal with the same spoon she uses herself to eat. This is a stark reminder of the grosteque disgusting nature of these foreign Kryptonians you idolize. They'll walk among us but I assure you, they will never be one with humanity.

I hate when people call characters stupid just because they're cheerful and lively

Like can we for once just think outside the box, these characters were created to be inspirations/hopeful etcetera, and mainly because their target audience is for kids. I hate it so much when ppl take this seriously lol can't they fool around sometimes no harm done they were meant to be silly and thats the point
