On god one of the few interesting things to come out of S5 is Oh-Father, I am almost entertained to all his scenes. It's crazy how they made him have much more depth of character than any of the Boys this season (PS love his voice!)

The Boys haven't reached GOT level collapse, but it's genuinely on the trajectory of going down the same way as Stranger Things 5, which is equally upsetting.

The V1 plotline is good, but why take up over 4 episodes, HALF of the season, when this is the last? It really hurt the pacing, and lost track of other plotlines.

I enjoyed the V1 plotline but part of why most people hated it was not because of 'filler' but because it took the entire half of the season (EP 3 - EP 6), leaving no time for other plotlines to be fleshed out.

Some plotlines I dont think will be closed anymore with these final 2 eps.

You can feel some of these episodes were just padded out for the runtime, and that was not a good sign. The easier fix would've been to do it in 2 episodes, then go back to the plot of The boys in scorched earth with Homie, and Soldier Boy

How did they manage to make Homelander and Soldier Boy in the same room less intimidating than A-train or The Deep in S1

I know the scene probably doesn't fit the post because of the comedians, but almost all their scenes together is kind of just a running soldier boy joke or dlip flopping sides. They don't even have to kill people to be intimiating, just their presence speaks and the way they portrayed both of them is of a comedic manner, but I guess the point is to show the deconstruction of the character. The way they are just pretty chill on the backseat away from the main plot before kinda just takes away the built up stake since the previous seasons, but hey maybe these last 2 episodes will prove that wrong.

EP 7 PREDICTIONS: The Boys argue on the ethics of the virus. Butcher disagrees Frenchie kimiko talk. Buildup to Homelander losing it which happens next episode after that trust me. There's a 30 second fight scene full of cuts and punching.the ending is a shocking cliffhanger. Oh and the sex jokes

S2 finale showed us a glimpse on how terrifying Butcher can look like. Do you think any scene from the remaining 2 episodes will come close?
