So this perfectly explains why everyone is having such a difficult time getting any sort of info from Mercedes on delivery times (especially in the US where the vehicle has not even officially been announced yet). What a bummer…
I placed my order June 13th which is a day after I got notified from my dealer that order slots were available.
I’ve been told that the earliest allocations are scheduled for the first week of October and will arrive sometime in November.
But according to what a few other people in the US have posted online it seems like dealers actually don’t know much. I’ve heard September, October, December, and January…. With all of those orders being placed as soon as order slots opened.
Mercedes also STILL has not announced MSRP but for some reason has given all of us US based customers pricing for the packages and options. That’s great… but the MSRP is really important.
I’m just don’t understand why no attention has been given to the US release. No reviewers, no journalists, nothing and we’re just months away from supposedly having orders being built.
