I really hate when I see someone so beautiful I start feeling worthless

Anyone else know that feeling? I genuinely hate how people’s looks have that much power over me and my self esteem. Sometimes I be having a decent day but it just takes one glimpse of someone to ruin my day and potentially my entire week. I’m way too fragile oh my god

An appreciation post for this subreddit

This has nothing to do with horror, but I just wanna take the time to appreciate this genuinely amazing subreddit and it deserves to be lifted up for being truly welcoming and passionate, and everyone here is always so nice and mature it makes me overwhelmed how positive this community is. It has always been my comfort zone on the internet. The horror genre is everything to me and it’s nice to share this communal feeling with other horror freaks on here. I’ve been on this sub for many years and I can’t recall any single bad encounter, just maturity and fun stuff all around. Thank you r/horror

Alan Wake 2 has seriously impressive and photorealistic in-gameplay faces

This is on PS5. This game has the best in-game facial animations I’ve seen outside of cutscenes. I just sat down and took endless screenshots with photo mode, I kept zooming in on their faces to see the details lol

The background NPCs in Cyberpunk 2077 are ridiculously high quality

They look like main characters. I think CDPR created some of the NPCs using the character creation of V, which is amazing

Alan Wake 2 is so committed to be oppressive that the safe rooms look like this

Break rooms in this game be nastier than the actual streets

Is it just me or was Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty kinda life changing

I played this game with PL and finished them for the first time last summer, I experienced all of it and got the platinum. I remember feeling like a completely changed person after being done. Last time i was this affected by a video game was maybe… Bloodborne?

The Tower ending was absolutely fucked and it left a profound impact on me. One of the most beautiful, bleak and devastating endings I’ve ever seen. A year later and still haven’t recovered

I love Abby so much

Been 5 years since i played TLOU2 and this game has been out of my radar for so long, until suddenly right now I just remembered Abby and how amazing she was. Never felt this attached and related to a female character before. Her part of the story was beautiful and tragic, it left a massive impact on me. i also remember how insanely overhated she was when the game came out, tho i have no idea how the community feels about it her right now. Anyways i might do another TLOU2 run, idk why i’m just remembering this after all this time

This is like if A24 produced a video game. It’s arthouse weirdness and I’m obsessed with it. I Wonder what this sub thinks of it

And all the frizz and physics… No because I can genuinely only see GTA 6 surpassing this.
