Rushing this fraternity as a pledge and this brother is super shy to talk to girls. Any advice on how I can help him approach better. I feel like with current generation and social media it is way harder unless someone disagrees? How common was getting laid for you by semester in college for any good reference
I am a current transfer and the difference is so overwhelming, THe classes are way bigger and people aren't as social to talk to either. People already have established friend groups and I just felt I had a better social life at my CC than this. Even the clubs can get too big at times. How did you find your people especially since everyone has the same dorm friends?
I just recently got in a t20 school with a large undergrad population and i feel so out of place. It is so hard to find friends since the classes are big and I don't live in dorms. Coming from a small college I feel so out of place and the clubs are really big as well. I am consdiering transferring to another school just because of this reason but I am not sure if I will feel out of place there too. The people here are nice but everyone is competitve and locked in not willing to give advice.

I go to a decent ranked universty with an undergrad population of 30,000+ and I just don't understand why people overhype the social aspect of it. it is way harder to find your people or find a friend group at such a big universty. I came from a small universty and was hoping to go to a smaller one as well. Like the class sizes are super big and everywhere is super populated. Am I alone in feeling this way or what?
So I am a transfer at a public big college. I never had the oppurtunity to live in dorms. Everyone keeps on giving stories about how they meet alot of friends, go to events from dorms and it makes me super jealous that I never got to expierence any of that. Also like how everyone is just hooking up with each other etc. Not sure if that is common everywhere but these expierence that i can never have.
I was trying to catch a late night bus to lot sc 6 and I literally had to wave stand on the road to stop the u m bus driver. That;s not even the worse part. The driver did not stop at any stops or even slow down. And then two girls were outside the stop screaming at the driver to open the door but they just passed them and didn't even wait at the signal traffic. Like I get you are tired but these are students who need to get to their car or dorm instead of walking 30 mins??

Hey, so i am a sophomore who is rushing frats at a big ten school. I mostly focused on classes my freshman year and worked up on my body in the gym. I wanna rush a frat to make connections and hookup to be blunt. My ex dumped me and I wanna explore that lifestyle now. I am also having second thoughts on the time commitment it takes to be a brother as i am living off campus with a 20 min commute.
How common were hookups for you as a frat bro and was it mostly with soriorty women? What does the time commitment looking like and how can I still be part of the parties without being in the frat?
So I am an incoming transfer and I am so confused on what to do about parking since I am live 30 mins drive away. I am eligble for orange permit but that's like a 15 min walk to the nearest spot for central and even then idk how many parking spots they have.
Should I get a private garage or pay my friend for his apartment spot and walk everyday? Or if anyone knows better hacks where I don't have to drive 30 mins and on top 20 mins walk
For context I am a transfer student living off campus with my cousin. I have no friends at umich and as welcome week is approaching I have no idea where I can go and socialize with. I really do want to enjoy college and these events but I feel so lost
So I accidentally added the wrong year when signing up and I got age restriction. I contacted support and told them I already had an account and deleted it with same info. They reached out and told me i need to submit a government ID on their " safe" jumbo privacy website.
Like if a data breach happens they for sure not taking responsibility for my said privacy. Why does a dating app even need my government ID? I have an old state Id with my info, should I just submit that or what to bypass this stupidity?

I emailed their support btu I don't want to provide a goernment ID now. They are able to check my previous data or emails I had prior? Any way to get this sorted out?
Only 1 part was completely true but overall they added way more background history alongside completely different representation of the characters
I know handling multiple units require a manager but pay them a cut on top of your low margins and the risk of lossing business if a manager doesn't follow the books. I have dealt with managers and landlords, but in comparison a manager only wants business and doesn't care alot about requests for maintence or misbehaving with a tenant on small issues vs landlords.
Well it's not their prioperty either but that could also mean legal issues down the line if a manager is ignorant constatly. And the landlords are ouf of the loop for the whole part. What do you feel about not knowing what is happening on your property? Have you run into bad managers and if they messed things up for you?
In usa, a tenant has to go through a bunch of applications, interviews and background checks to even be considered for a place to live due to the current housing crises. But all things considered there are bad tenants who cause disruptences. But we simply can't ignore the amount of landlords who don't keep up the maintence, often overcharge fees for secruity deposits or straight up ignore tenants until they need to collect their checks.
Why isn't it fair for both sides to know the past history of each other? And yes I can do independant checks but will a landlord agree to have a background check run on them without making a fuss or declining my application?
Everytime I post a question or concern regarding my landlord or see a post in other subreddits, I always see a comment of someone instantly blaming the tenant for their wrongdoing. Dods every landlord whole heartedly believes that tenant are always the problems and landlords aren't shady do goers who overcharge your deposit, don't keep your unit upto maintence and don't respect your boundaries at all !!
Edit : Also want to through in the arguement of why a tenant goes through so many checks but a landlord isn't hold to any history?

I’m a property manager dealing with what appears to be a sudden wave of negative online reviews following a dispute with a former tenant. We had a disagreement with this tenant, and the situation became fairly heated. They moved out about two weeks ago. Since then, we’ve been receiving negative reviews every couple of days. Some of the reviews appear to be from people I cannot identify as current or former tenants.
When I receive a review that I cannot match to a tenant or customer record, I generally respond that I’m unable to locate the person in our records and ask them to provide more information so we can determine whether they actually dealt with our company. I also report reviews that I believe may violate the review platform’s policies.
At one point, a tenant stated in a review that they were responsible for the recent wave of negative reviews. I responded publicly that I would consider taking legal action if there was evidence that someone was deliberately organizing false reviews against the business.
But I really believe they are behind this cordinated attack, how can I do something legally?
