Recently got this PS2 and it reads some games funny. Think a pass with this DVD should clean things up 😂🤘

So stoked to have come upon all of this at a nearby sale.. have yet to clean or test anything but I am just so psyched. Haven’t had my hands on a PS2 since playing my friends in middle school.. and I now have a slim and fat model! 😂🤘 Gonna get all this cleaned and see how it goes

My grandpa had a big interest in history and antiques. He had passed away back in 2020, and a few of the things he left to me were his Edison player and some of his records.. have been keeping my eye out for more.

Today I hit the motherload.. an old farm had an estate sale sign put up earlier this week and I figured I would check it out.. I am so glad I did.

The gentleman and his family aren’t moving, they just had to clear a lot of stuff out from another property.. he had built this collection up for over 50 years. This wasn’t even all of it, I missed out on another crate of these records.

He also had a couple players, and even the machines to shave and record new cylinders. We talked for a good while about all sorts of things, and he cut me a bulk deal on these.. he was extremely gracious.

I just couldn’t get rid of the thought of how my grandpa would react if he was around to see all of this.. 😂. It has been a great day.

I know I’ve already said too much.. I just want to clarify a good bit of these are in rough shape. Probably about half are either cracked or really moldy. But the ones that aren’t are in real good shape. Have also found a few that aren’t Edison brand.. there’s just so much to look through. Going to try and log all of these. Match cylinders to their correct tube if I can find it.. just ecstatic

Got work tomorrow, but figure I’d take Kid Rock out to the slopes before I sleep

Went looking up in the barn my grandparents keep my uncle and dad’s stuff stored in from when they were kids. This was among my Uncles old toys.. sprayed the electric contacts with cleaner and popped a battery in.. works like a charm. Hasn’t been played since the late 70’s

Been working on building back my collection from when I was younger and foolishly traded in 90+ games to GameStop. Need for Speed The Run is the game I got with my 360.. PGR 4 is another that I’ve had since the beginning.. look I won’t bore with specifics, but it’s been nice to build a collection up again 😁🤘

Real fun destruction based racing game. Hadn’t heard of it until I saw it awhile back at the market. It’s a blast! Has got that twisted metal feel.. 🤘

This game played a pretty sizable role in me and my friends competitiveness 😂. Was such a fun game to play, it’s not the most advanced strategy game out there. But it’s just loads of fun.. plenty of charm. 🤘 This one is an OG of my collection 😁

Such a killer track.. pretty heavy for the time. Really like the way this one sounds. 🤘

Any of yall play this also?? Was so much fun when I was a kid. I had gotten an OG Xbox from an older friend when I was in elementary school. This was the only game I got with it. Good times 🤘
