Camper Van Beethoven - “Pictures of Matchstick Men” (‘89)

Released in September of ‘89, so just barely scraping the 80’s barrel. Was almost inclined to post to 90’s music.. 😂. Such a good cover, loved this song when I was a kid.

Quintessence - “Giants”

Off of their 1969 album ‘In Blissful Company’. First seen these guys on Youtube, there’s video of them playing at Hyde Park along with Edgar Broughton Band in 1969. Really like this song 🤘

Bandit Trans Am Behind The Scenes

Some cool pictures found online of the Bandit Trans Am behind the scenes. They went through 3 cars for the movie. The bridge jump car had to be outfitted with a more powerful engine as the stock 6.6 couldn’t make it fly.

The Gorm

If you haven’t heard of Mark Gormley.. do yourself a favor and hear him! Hah, he was kinda a meme years ago with his song “Without You” (I had first seen that song on the internet clip show “Worlds Dumbest” when I was a kid). But in time I have come to appreciate the story of another good man just trying to make some music.. he was a genuine guy. R.I.P.

Finally got myself a GameCube

I was born in 2001.. I didn’t really have a console for myself until 2011 with the Xbox 360s. But my older family and friends all had either a PS2 or a GameCube.. my older cousin had a GameCube and back in 2006 and 07 before he moved, I would ride my bike over there and we’d hang out all the time playing his GameCube. (I had the chance to get it from him but my mom didn’t allow at the time lol, took em awhile to loosen up and let me play video games) The top games I remember are Simpsons Hit and Run, American Wasteland and Naruto Clash of Ninja.

Spotted this GameCube along with American Wasteland ( No Case) and had to grab it. It’s been so much fun. Naruto just got here today.. gonna be coolin out tonight 😁🤘

Dad on the IH Titan back in 1978

Looking through some old photos and found this one.. there aren’t many photos of our old Titan. My Grandpa and Great uncle picked this up very recently in the photo. It had ran for a short bit.. my Grandpa isn’t around anymore to ask about it. This was sold at auction a few years back.. hopefully who ever picked it up was able to get it going again 👍😁

Anyone else have their guide hiding somewhere?

This thing has held a special spot in my closet for the last 10 years lol.. I remember getting it at Borders books back in 2014. Not too long after I had gotten the game.

I remember mostly using it to find locations of guns throughout the map so I wouldn’t have to buy any. It also helped me in finding the spaceship parts and all that.

I’m too lazy to lookup and see if they still printout strategy guides for games. I’m sure they do, just to a lesser extent.. it was a great help to me, it added to the game too ya know?

Dutch Van Der Linde’s End (Red Dead Redemption)

One of the best Video games ever made.. along with the second. The first one was really gripping. The ending got me.. if yall haven’t played or heard of Red Dead Redemption I highly recommend playing them..

Taking place in 1911, the first game follows John Marston. A former Gang member tasked (or forced rather) by Federal agents to track down and kill his former comrades. Dutch Van Der Linde was his former leader who had went insane in the years since the events of the second game.

Ice - “Each Man Makes His Destiny” (‘74)

A record I treasure.. had found this skowering through some crates at a local market. The cover had grabbed my attention.. if you spot an icebox on a cover you ought to be in for something cool! 😂
The cover was about split in two and I was able to grab this for a buck. The record sounds great.. have heard some good things about the Prestige label and their quality.

But it’s a great album.. “There’s Time To Change”, “One Chance” and “Losin’” gotta be my favorites off of it. Have yall heard of these guys? What do yall think?
