Ships @ Detroit Petroleum Waterfront Terminal?

How long do the ships stay here? I'm tracking the Tregurtha and it's been there for almost 3 hours. Any idea when it will ship off?

What to add to this to make it more delicious?

Hey there. I'm making this tomorrow in my crockpot. I'm already going to sauté onion, carrot, celery, and garlic and then add it to the beans. What else should I add to make it better? Also, what meat do you like in your bean soup? Thanks!

How long can you dry brine ribeye?

My ribeye has been dry brining for two days. I was going to cook it tonight but I am now going out. Would it be safe to cook tomorrow night? Or should I freeze it? Is it OK to freeze steak that has been dry brined? Thanks so much!

Thinking of a Fruit salad recipe……

Over 40 years ago I ate wonderful fruit salad that my uncle‘s mother made. I can’t get it out of my head! I remember it contained blueberries and raspberries, but I don’t remember what other fruits. The biggest thing I remember was the dressing was made with honey and lime juice. It was delicious! What other fruits would go with that kind of dressing? Thank you so much.

Weeding and outdoor maintenance?

There's a company that comes by that mows and blows but that's it. But I'm tired of looking at these weeds! And also the wood around that tree is coming apart and there's exposed nails. Isn't the landlord supposed to take care of these things? If I had the time, money and a healthy back I would weed and plant myself. But I'm always in pain and cannot bend over too much. It's a small building and it would look so much better with a little TLC and flowers. Thoughts?

Summer Clothes!

Please tell me where to get really comfy and breathable summer clothing. Also looking for swim attire. I am a 4 to 5X. Or even link a specific item. I work in a place that’s 80° all the time and I’m dying from the heat! I need thin pants or shorts and breathable T-shirts and what not. Bonus for stretchy material for my tops and bottoms. I usually get my T-shirts from JunoActive because they have stretch to them and they’re made very well. But they’re expensive! Any place else I should be looking? Thank you!

Struggling as a caregiver…..

Hey everyone. I’m a 54 year old female & I work for an agency and for the most part I’m happy with them. The client I’ve been with for a year is declining rapidly. She is still in her home but now needs 24/7 Care. I work a 12 hour shift. She’s only about 110 pounds but she now needs help getting out of chairs, walking, etc. All this extra care that she needs is killing my back, neck & shoulders! When I change her brief, it has to be on the toilet and I’m bending at the waist constantly. I cannot squat either. I’m at my wits end and I’m in pain! I tried to talk to my boss and he said he cut my shifts in half. But I’m still doing the back breaking work that is causing me problems. What would you do? I mean, I like this client a lot, we get along well and she’s got a great family. She has dementia so she can’t follow directions how to scoot to the edge of the seat and to put her hands on the armrest to push herself out of the chair. She will always put her hands on her Rollator and try to stand that way. Needless to say she’s unsuccessful. Anyway, I’m really stressed out! Thanks for listening.

My mother never thinks she’s in her own home.

What do I do? Do I re-orient her and keep telling her she is in her home? What’s a better alternative to keep her happy and calm? Thank you.

Bake ahead of time to reheat later?

I take care of my elderly mother. When she gets hungry I need to get something together quickly. Instructions say to preheat oven to 375°F and cook for 25 to 30 minutes. How can I speed this up so all I need to do is reheat the salmon? Can I bake it ahead of time? Thoughts? Thank you.

I'm new to the state and everyone says go to Meijers. What are they known for? What good deals can be had? I'm looking for new bedsheets. Do they have some nicely priced ones that aren't crappy? Thanks!
