This is shocking, I paid my rent regularly without any delay, been living here for 6 months now, never caused any disturbance and abided by all the rules. Today they told me that they are removing all 'other states' people from the society. Is this even legal?

Although I never made the rent agreement, so I think I don't have any choice.

i did my thesis from one of the labs in that department, and i can easily say that is the worst!! Almost every lab is full of toxic and selfish phd students, whose egos have no match. It was a hard time working there. I left a year ago, hope the situation has improved now.

Every day I see a new LinkedIn post with the PI revealing the got 200+ applications for 1 position. How to stay encouraged enough to keep going. I am applying for last 1 year, and yet to get any position (applying in molecular biology field in european universities, did a masters from qs<150 with grade >4/5, with additional 1 year of research experience, one second author publication in Q1 with IF>4). Can anyone share some success stories of people who managed to get good position even after some delay, and how they got it. It will be of lot of help.
