Is anyone else on this thread in a relationship? I have been in a relationship for almost 3 years and I love my partner very much. Even though I love my partner, I don’t like to see them all the time because that stresses me out.

I like to have a lot of time to myself.
Ironically, though, I feel less pressure to hang out with my friends but I love seeing them. I don’t like to be around my friends all the time, though I need time to emotionally decompress and be by myself and have silent time.

Those who have stopped and grown hair picking how did you do it. I have had days where I’ve sat and picked Ingrown hairs the same one specifically for hours…. I just feel like if I stop a bump will grow because that’s what’s happened when I stopped before….

How do I stop this bad habit?
I prefer, preferably, would like a bump to not grow when I stop the habit too….

I know a lot of people on this thread are currently struggling, but if there’s anyone who’s stopped their problem with picking or doesn’t really think about it anymore, please give tips.

If there’s one thing about me, the one thing that I do not let slide is people not keeping their word…

My boyfriend told me months ago he would pay for a life-changing medical procedure that he has the money for easily.

He brought this up himself and told me that he wanted to pay for the procedure and it would be about $5000…

I obviously would never ask for him to pay for this, but we have been together for years and he surprise me randomly by saying he was going to pay for the procedure because he knew that it would make a huge impact on my life…

I was so excited because this was huge news as I was not able to afford the procedure. Now that it’s time for to pay for the procedure he wants to back out. My issue is not with him not paying. It’s the fact that he is not keeping his word. Why would he even surprise me by making a promise to me that he would pay for a procedure and telling me how he would pay for it and then now deciding that he doesn’t want to?

I would totally understand if he gave me a valid reason that he came into some kind of financial turmoil or distress, but he just told me that he never planned on paying for the procedure… he was just saying it. That’s what I think what made be the most angry because how can I ever trust him now?
AITAH for telling him I don’t want to be with him anymore if he cannot keep his promises and makes promises without wanting to keep them?

Edit: he told me that I don’t love him since I’m holding him to this and that I don’t care about him and then I’m scummy…..

I have undergone lots of laser treatments that were ablative… in normal every day lighting. My skin looks good in my opinion and other others say that they have seen an improvement as well.

I noticed though in certain lighting, especially overhead bathroom lights my skin looks 10 times worse and the acne scars look sunken in certain spots that it doesn’t normally look in regular every day lighting.

Does anyone else have this happen to them because it feels like I’ve made so much improvement except in the odd lighting scenario.

I’m about a year out from jaw surgery… is there anything I can start doing now to prepare other than already having the braces on and having my surgeon consulted with my orthodontist on the braces

Update about what I posted yesterday

I did not end up coming home that day per her request to clean up the fridge because I was with my grandmother…

I came home today as I had planned before and made sure nothing in the fridge was mine…
Not to my surprise, the molded food was hers…
I ended up just taking it to the trash like a mature adult would because I don’t mind picking up something with gloves on🤣

She texted me too, and I quote “throw out all the food that are leftovers…”
So I threw out her leftover pizza.
Then she gets home crying about how I threw out her pizza…

I bought her a new pizza because I’m like whatever at this point… she’s the type who will bother someone about something till the end of time…. For example, one of my other roommates opened a fridge door and her relish fell out of the fridge and broke… to this day. She mentions the relish all the time and I just cannot deal with that.

I told her I’m getting my own mini fridge for my room and I’m putting all my food in there so this can be the very last debate about the fridge and who threw out who’s food.

They’re like oh my gosh that’s so unnecessary to get your own mini fridge… no it’s necessary because I don’t need you telling me to throw out food again and then having me buy you new food when I clean up as requested…

I was fine with buying her a new pizza this one time just to make her stop whining about it because my roommate never bought her new relish, and she still mentions it months later. Also, it was a giant homemade pizza so I bought her the ingredients for it and it cost me $30 so I will certainly not be doing that ever again and will be completely avoiding that fridge….

To make someone pay $30 for something that you told them to throw out is absolutely insane, but I cannot deal with her complaining about it for the rest of the year like she did with the relish… $30 is worth that. The saying goes you can’t argue with crazy.

I cannot wait till I can finally move out!😀

I’m not going to lie. I’ve had the time where I’ve left food in the fridge just like anyone else.

I have gotten my own mini fridge and started putting my food in my own fridge to omit harming anyone else with this….

My roommate accused me of having food in the fridge that was going to harm her health and claiming that food in the fridge was mine when I specifically saw her, put it in there…..

She’s like you need to come home today and clean it up. I’m like I’m at my grandparents house today. I cannot. What would you do in this situation? In the off chance that it was mine, I would gladly clean it up tomorrow when I get back, but don’t tell me right when I leave the apartment that I need to do something that could’ve been done by you or me a couple hours ago when I was at the apartment. Also, I’m 99% positive that food was not mine because I do not buy or eat carrots.

I just don’t think it is fair to allow food to sit in the fridge for days and then tell me right when I leave that I need to come home and clean it up when I don’t think that food is even mine….. again if the food was mine, that is completely my bad and I would clean it up gladly when I get back tomorrow, but the food they sent a picture of was not mine….. It’s like she specifically blaming me for the food. She’s like I only buy two things that I prepped my food with….. then why do I always see your leftovers in the fridge🤣🤣

I am in my 20s and I love classic rock and a good dive bar….
Are there any bars that play classic rock constantly? I’ve tried to find good bars that play classic rock, but there doesn’t seem to be that many. Most places I find tend to just play EDM and rap and I want a bar that plays classic rock so I can vibe to the music.
