I enjoyed painting these dogs. All four are looking up at their owner at once. I cleared out a stray item on the floor and smoothed the background behind them a bit. I kept the striped rug and every pose true to the photo. Keeping four sets of fur looking distinct from each other took some careful work. This was a commission painting, and I hope I did them justice.

Cleared out the Christmas tree branches and the bow around her neck, and gave her a clean teal background instead so all the focus stays on that face. Apparently, long walks in the woods are his favorite thing, so I painted him right in his favorite spot, leaves scattered on the path and mist rolling through the trees, and kept his pose and expression exactly as they were.
