How ought the common man live in a neoplatonist framework?

The ideal sage in Neoplatonism reminds me an awful lot of some Buddhist monk. Thing is, most people can't or don't want to be as such. How should, in a Neoplatonist framework, most people conduct themselves? How important is theurgy vs ethics vs philosophy?

I love whoring myself out to half the realm

Female rulers are amazing. I am the duke of Luxembourg (after the end: eurasia mod), and I have 2 legitimized sons and one older legitimized daughter, and in addition to her age and her taking very well to stewardship, she is a woman. Now, she's betrothed to the emperor's second son, so I'll make sure to wait for the emperor to die and another dynasty to take the throne, but once he does and my daughter becomes duchess, I am going to bang every elector I can to get myself elected Empress. Similarly, I once played a series of English queens in CK2+ I believe, and I just kept securing loyalty from every major vassal through...diplomacy, of a sort. I do say, being the village bicycle is really OP in this game. I do feel a little sorry for all the husbands I've cheated on, but the ends justify the meat.

Hello Africans! Mostly SSA's. To what extent does clothing in your country maintain pre-colonial elements like materials used, patterns, cuts of cloth, etc? Pre-colonial africa has some nice drip and I'd love to see modern drip in those veins.

Hello Nigerians. Your historic textiles fascinate me. Does contemporary Nigerian fashion have much pre colonial influence? I would love to see old or old inspired clothes, rugs, and other textiles.

Why does Luther's catechism extoll obeying authorities if he was a protestant and not an obediant?

Hi! Reading a short Lutheran catechism and he really emphasizes obeying authorities. Didn't Luther...disobey authorities? I am confused by this conflict.

HELLO BISEXUALS

I took the colors from the Bi flag. The symbol in the middle represents men and women, since bisexuals bang men and women, except me as I am bitchless.

HELLO HOMOSEXUALS.

I made two homosexual flags. Lesbian and homosexual men. Symbolism: In either case, I made a vertical triband flag both honoring and distinguishing itself from the horizontal LGBT flag conventions. The pink is for girls and the blue is for boys. The sex symbols, female and female and male and male, are entangled to represent sex and homosexuality specifically.

The finale made me realize I'm probably trans

Hi! Watched the finale when it released on youtube. Last year I went through a questioning phase and considered if I'm nombinary or smth, and I've had certain...tendencies much of my life like what seems to be bottom dysphoria and and always feeling out of place as a man. A few years ago a friend jokingly referred to me as a woman to make a point about usage of the word "bro" and it felt..right if that makes sense. After seeing the scene with the Jaxes and the closet door in chains they all yelled at, it was like a dam broke, and I could finally see what I had been doing for much of my life. It's not gonna be easy for me, and I'll have to wait years to get much in the way of physical treatment, but now I think I know the path I must take. I am incredibly thankful for this show and the impact it's had on me. Overall, I'd rate the show 7.5 out of 10. Had some writing issues, but I'm excited to see Goose's future works.i'm skeptical of mainstream trans ideology, so I wouldn't consider myself a woman right now since gender as *external* seems more compelling as a model, but I do look forward to *becomimg* a woman.

Why don't scientologists and scientology adjacent people just make, like, protestant scientology without the dickheads in charge? What's stopping people who believe in that nonsense from just saying "Fuck these guys but they're right about some stuff"?

Scientology as an organization, fuck 'em, but it's only a few generations old. What's stopping a decentralized schism from popping off?

Black Hebrew Israelite flag I made

Symbolism: The gold and purple represent the gold and purple religious clothes they sometimes wear and wealth and power. The cross shape represents Christianity. The black cross and the 6 pointed star represent how the BHI's are the true Jews and their Christian origins. The gold outlines of the cross and star merge like how the BHI's merge their Jewish and Christian beliefs. I do not support the BHI's but they are very funny so I like them.

The Trade republic of Mars

Black is space. The red circle is, mars. The 4 projections represent the bustling trade and economy of spaceships flying from mars to other colonies and earth. The 2 white circles are the moons of Mars.

Jewish Communist flag

Symbolism: The rainbow is from the bible, as in, Noah, and the Jewish Autonomous Oblast. The Star of David is Jewish and in the canton like a hammer and sickle.

Does God have experiential knowledge of non-God? For example, does God know what living as a dog or elephant or a human (aside from Jesus) is like? Or should omniscience be viewed in terms of propositions like "XYZ neurons fired causing this reaction at this time"?

Additionally, do the other persons of the trinity have experiential knowledge of Jesus' life? If so, did they learn it or always have it? Can one person know things the other persons don't know?

Hi! I'm a bit confused on how faith works in Lutheranism, especially in light of Hell

So, if I understand Lutheranisn correctly, the ability to have faith is given by God and we have a duty not to reject the gift? Are all people given the ability to have faith or only some? I wouldn't go as far to say I have religious trauma, but the religious environment I grew up in was one that showed the darker sides of faith and, to be blunt, the dumber sides of faith as well like young earth creationism. Naturally, this makes it very difficult to have faith. If that hesitancy which was caused by factors outside of my control causes me to stay damned, isn't that kinda...evil? To a great extent, I want to have faith, but just as someone who was food poisoned might avoid that food for life, faith is hard to swallow for me.

Flag of the South (racial unity, post confederate)

Symbolism: The blue and grey stripe represent the north and south's uniforms. The red stripe in the center represents the blood of the civil war and of later blood shed for civil rights, such as the various martyrs killed by white supremacists. The black and white bends in the middle represent the black and white race, and how they are tied together as southerners and equals. I also included a version without the rope.

Is there any reason a trans person can't just get HRT and/or surgery but not socially or legally transition?

Inb4 "it goes against God's design', I'm pretty sure knee surgery also goes against God'a design if your knees naturally suck, no? If knee surgery or facial surgery for someone born with a cleft palate is allowed what issue could there be with HRT or gender affirming care so long as the person doesn't claim to be the gender they want to be?

Muslims believe that Jesus preached doctrines more in line with Islam than with Christianity; from a historical perspective does this have any merit?

For example, would Jesus have preached the sinlessness of prophets? That God is unitarian in nature like Islam tends to preach? How much legitamacy does the Islamic narrative that Jesus' doctrines would have alligned with Islam but not with Christianity have? Does any historical evidence contradict it?

Was the early Christian priesthood modeled on the Jewish priesthood? Greco Roman religious groups? De novo?

Hi! I'm curious, what did the early christiam priesthood model itself off of, if indeed there was one mold? Did it take traits and structure from multiple priesthoods?
