TfL eyes Heathrow Express takeover as 2028 deadline looms - What happens if EL take over ? Will they still run non-stop from PAD Platform B to the airport?

Published on 19th May 2026 by Ian Mansfield

HEX carries, on average, around 80 passengers per train, compared to its potential capacity of 374.

Heathrow Express’s current track access license to use the Network Rail tracks between its tunnel and Paddington also expires in 2028 unless renewed.

Ian thinks the extra 4 trains will call all stations to Heathrow and not express

Do you prefer White Hart Lane or our TH Stadium. The constuecution phase feels like a lifetime ago. We have built a fortress

We have a great modern ground. I do miss WHL, it had something that our current ground doesn't have, just a vibe, an eerie feeling. Do you agree

FIP question for Staff Travel. Has any used their 2nd Class FIP for Eurostar Plus (Standard Premier)

Haven't travelled Eurostar in around 8 years when we were allowed to use 2nd class facilities.

I am being offered an upgrade via my App for a FIP ticket.

Is this allowed and will Rail Staff Travel (RDG) find out ?

I have countless colleagues who 1. Upgrade regularly using the app feature as it's Eurostar allowing you to, and 2. Being sold 1st class (Plus) at the eurostar booking office, then through they're in receipt of 2nd class FIP.

Is staff travel travel strict with this because it says *upgrades not allowed, even if offered via Eurostar app*

Surely RDG cannot control that ?

Peculiar. If eurostar allow second class holders to upgrade that's surely up to them, not RDG/RST

Just saw this on the other sub, 9 years ago OTD, after a season invincible at Home we played our last game at White Hart Lane saying goodbye with a 2-1 win against Manchester United

Just beautiful.

We would have won the ESL European Super League. Now we are threatened with relegation. You lot, the fans didn't want it, now look where we are. ☹️

If it went ahead, we would have been a fantastic contender and known as a European Super giant.

You lot didn't want it, the media didn't now look, we are 17th in the PL. We could have been 17th in the ESL.

THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER

What a sorry state of affairs our club is in! Our players are at the mercy of a useless and incompetent board. 7 years ago, we were training for our big Madrid final.

Make sure Kvarksellia and vitania get their rest and thump Woolwich in Budapest.

Kvaratskhelia what a player

Show the bottlers how it's done on the big stage.

They'll wipe the floor with them

EDIT ABSOLUTELY shameful and a disgrace arsenal fans have plagued this thread.

Any spursies here, your voice will be heard and we cannot let gooners come here and takeover this thread. They are all squirming 😂😂

2nd EDIT - yes ok the algorithm has brought many gooners here, if I'm being an idiot in the comments just remind me of it. At the end of the day, I have to uplift my club, and the spursies on this sub.

Gooners, whatever happens happens, a UCL final with a PL team is only GOOD for English football, rivalries aside 🙂

I recall in 2019, Goonies wanted spurs out well before we had Ajax in the semis. They were all rooting for Liverpool in the final

I will get in touch with a few supporters clubs and get some photos of our wild night in Madrid.

Expect me to post pictures of the final in Madrid andthe buildup to that famous night, on the runup to this year's final in Budapest.

Especially if Arse*** make it. ☹️ We want to make the final, Our Final (from 2019)

A frightening prospect, yet very realistic reality.

Team all season, has had no desire, no urgency, no leadership, no energy.

Still, the Wolves result , has given me little hope.
