Weird kid in my class got angry that I used A.I. art in my final (even tho teacher said it was OK)

Exactly as title.

I was working on one of my final projects. I asked my teacher if it was okay if I used some AI generated images in my final, and she said it was okay. I made the AI images, finished the project, and turned it in.

The next day, she presented the final to the class. I wasn’t there when she presented it, but when I came into the class, I noticed some kid (who I’ve only talked with maybe 2 times before) was looking at me weird. He looked at me, turned to whoever he was sitting with, and looked back at me. He kept doing this for the remainder of class.

As class was about to end, I was standing near the door. The kid comes up to me and says something like “were those AI images that you used in your final?”

I responded “yeah, they were.”

He then asked me why the hell I would use A.I. images. I told him that I wanted to use A.I. because it was easier. He then said something like “you’re harming real artists,” or something like that. At this point, I had enough, so I just turned around and tuned him out. That just infuriated the guy more, and he was raising his voice. At this point, the bell rung, so I just walked out.

North, East, South, and West have all gone for Wilson and Marshall and they will have an overwhelming majority in the electoral column. The House of Representatives remains Democratic by an increased majority and the indications are that the Senate will also be controlled by the same party. President Taft has carried three states and while the result in some cases is still in doubt it is probable that Roosevelt will have five states, giving Wilson 40 out of 48 and a grand total of 424 electoral votes. Later returns may change this slightly but the result is sure. Maryland has gone Democratic by about 30,000 [votes]. The Democrats have also elected five congressmen. In almost all of the counties of the state Roosevelt was particularly strong in the counties and among the working men. The following table shows the vote of the State in full.”

A.I. wasn’t even mentioned until this guy brought it up.

I made a post of a cool sign in my school’s library. No mention of A.I., yet this guy still felt like bringing it up.
