Hi! I am the girl who graduated yesterday!
I am 18 and in my country I can take my license. I am autistic and I have struggles with eye hand cooardination and stuff so I might struggle with it but I am pretty sure I can.
I am telling it all here because I don't have a good family so I want some "congrats" here thank you, also I am going to college soon and I will be far from them yeay, they are controlling and they are quite immature and I feel like I had to "parent" them because of their constant infighting and blaming it on me or my father figure lacking then coming back and demanding me for "gratitude", and so much more (but let's not focus on this let's focus on my positive achievements, I am also going away in some months to another region🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻)
And I also am going to get my first job interview next week, I am going to teach English if I get accepted. I already have money saved and economic support but more money won't hurt.
Looking for the best English / or Italian translation of The Idiot. Which edition captures Dostoevsky’s voice most faithfully while still reading naturally? McDuff, Pevear & Volokhonsky, Avsey, Magarshack or another favorite? I’d love your recommendations. I am looking for something that is readable and that though is more faithful to the feelings and the sentiments of anxiety and the expressions than the time period or the Russian grammar.

Hi! I am an autistic 18 years old woman. I have always had issues with practical and coordination and motor skills and poor parenting / adulting (that did not help me learning much but instead did everything for me) that led me behind to others. Don't assume anything for granted. For example I can't cook even if I can feed myself with ready food and stuff but it isn't very healthy, but I am learning this summer and also taking my license as my country requires me to be 18. I can do normal chores, go to bank/doctor/ask for help to tutors and the help for neurodivergent and disabled students, communicate and all, but I can't for example fix stuff and I have a poor knowledge about economy and probably stuff I missed.
I will be going to college in another region of my country so I have to live on my own there. They have dorms and canteens. I also have poor social skills and I haven't dealt with landlords and stuff before. What should I know?
I am sorry if the question is stupid but it is quite important so I can practice more this summer.
I am eighteen years old and all I can do is microwaving. Sure I can also make sandwiches and salads and onigiri. I can do recipes without stoves. I have always been scared of fire but I want to overcome that. What are the first stove recipes I should learn? Can't eat prawns and crabs and shrimps, don't eat pork and lamb, can eat spicy and salty too! I have serious issues with mint it makes me feel weird. I don't want to eat mint. I also don't want to eat any organs. I don't want to eat bitter food. I like sour food like lemons and vinegar. I could survive on sour and spicy.
I love potatoes, cheese, mushrooms, aubergines, tomatoes, soy sauce, curry, teriyaki sauce, milk, coconut milk, chicken, fish and more. I like Chinese and Japanese cuisine and I am okay with Italian, Mexican, French, and other cuisines. I want to acquire basic cooking skills and techniques and how to optimise food planning and other stuff I should learn. I have to live on my own in college soon so I need some advices. Thank you.
Add: I have a rice cooker at home.
I can use it, but I want to learn stove.
EDIT I mean I would like to know the science and the actual techniques and how to use knives and heat and stuff and taste combinations before "experience" I am very rational

I wouldn't want to rely on ready food or salads or sandwitches all time, and eat a bit healthier. My family cooked dinner for me until now, but I find it important to eat decently healthy when I live on my own.
I have a rice cooker at home.
But I want to learn without it. I can use it but my shared kitchen in the dorms might not have it.
I feel like there is a lot of stuff I should learn it is overwhelming me because I don't know where to start. What is the first first first thing I should do? Study theory? Buy a sewing machine? Learn basic stuff? And what basic stuff should I learn exactly?
I don't know where to start :(
I know for you masters it must be a silly question but I am a bit intimidated and we all started from somewhere right? I bet when you first touched your needle and stuff you also felt something similar. If you could talk to yourself of then, what would you say?
Thank you! When I will have learned basics I will go next and ask what to do :D i am sorry, thank you for answeing the question of an autistic teenager. I didn't learn this at home as nobody can teach me now and also I didn't have the possibility to learn it at school. I just graduated and I want to fulfill my dream. Please use the easiest language you can!
