bro I’m not performing as well as I used to. every time I try to play Magik in qp lately it’s nothing but my teammates saying “trash trash trash trash trash Magik diff Magik swap Magik ur trash trash trash”

man all I wanted to do was start playing Magik again after taking a bit of a break. it’s really disheartening and it’s making me wanna stop playing her entirely which sucks cuz she’s my favorite marvel character

I was playing some OG today. I never play builds. I don’t think I’ve touched builds (aside from occasionally queuing it up on accident) in like 8 seasons. but for some reason I was just on OG and thought “yk what I should build a bit.”

I think that building got too sweaty and too complicated. crankin 90s, fast edits, build fights…

what happened to building a fort? me and my team were at salty springs and we broke some walls and the room off of a house and built a big brick fort and it was really fun! holding down a point, taking shots at people. I felt like I was protecting a castle or something. it brought back some of the magic I used to feel playing this game.

not trying to tell you to not crank 90s or whatever, just maybe try building a fort here and there. it’s really enjoyable. it’s a slow moment but Fortnite doesn’t have to be fast paced all the time.

just something I’ve been thinkin about today

if it’s a big arena, my big pet peeve is when it starts storming too hard to enjoy the show, but not hard enough to cancel the show.

another one is when artists censor themselves. I saw wheatus live and they completely changed Punk Ass Bitch because there were like 2 little kids in the crowd.

so I like never listen to Iowa aside from left behind and people = shit, but I relistened to the heretic anthem the other day and I wanna know who’s doing the vocals. I’ve gone back and listened and my brain is telling me that it’s Chris, Joey, and Sid. am I wrong or was my brain right?

this is an update to my previous post about the roles. I’m working on the launch roster, I still have about 11 spots to fill out.

DC Annihilation is a 6v6 team/objective based hero shooter, just like Overwatch and Marvel Rivals (that fan made game concept that got its own subreddit? yk the one).

- the lore

For thousands of years, Ares, God Of War, had been held prisoner by the Amazons. No conflict was ever enough to give Ares the power to rise, up until the invasion of Darkseid. A brutal war between earth and the demonic forces of apokolips that lead to not only destruction, but the death of Aquaman. the death of Atlantis’s king lead to Ocean Master attempting to usurp the throne for himself, which then lead to more battles, more conflict, and more power for Ares. Just enough to reach into the core of the earth and pull Ares out from his prison. Now, he seeks to cause as much conflict, war, and bloodshed as possible by pitting every hero and villain against each other until no one is left but him, and he can feast of the conflict and become the most powerful entity in the universe.

if you haven’t seen my post about the roles you can probably find it, but I’ll just summarize them real quick.

Tank: needs no explanation. it’s just… tank!

Striker: characters built around high damage outputs and high mobility, but with lower health and less defense

Tactician: characters built around high damage like strikers, but with less mobility, more health, better defense, and a more complex kit.

Support: characters built around providing health and buffs for teammates, and debuffs for enemies.

this post isn’t a ”fill in the 11 spots for me” post, I’m just gauging what people would actually want. There’s a high chance that the character you submit is already in launch or planned for post launch. tell me who you wanna see, what role, what their kit would be like, etc etc.

DC Annihilation. Rise to Power, Dominate the Battlefield

I haven’t listened to TØP in a hot minute. not that they did anything wrong or I started hating them, you just go through ebbs and flows of music from time to time.

today I listened to a girl in red album and for some reason after really wanted to listen to scales and icy. I scrolled down on the Tracklist and saw MTWEI… i didnt actually know it was out. I was like “omg what the hell I gotta hear this”.

and I don’t know why, something just hit me during routines in the night and I started tearing up. it was such a great live album, such a beautiful performance, great tracklist, and a dope lookin album cover to boot. I’ve since added the vinyl to my cart and I’m probably gonna spin my Clancy and blurryface vinyls before the night is over.

fuckin incredible stuff

I know literally nothing about LoL, I haven’t even watched arcane, but man this game is fun as fuck. it’s got everything I love in fighting games. nice art style, interesting characters with unique designs, fast paced gameplay, tag mechanics, flashy combos, and FREE CURRENCY EARNED THROUGH PLAYING!!!

my TWO problem with this game are that the cosmetics are EXPENSIVE asf and that the roster is really small. but unlike something like Tokon I can excuse 2XKO cuz it isn’t built around 4v4 fighting, and we’re getting more characters in a marvel rivals/overwatch sort of way I think where a few nee characters come every couple months (again, I think. correct me if I’m wrong) instead of usual fighting games having DLC packs

idk this just pisses me off when I see people say “thats not linkin park” on any post or video with Emily. it is Linkin Park. get over it.

just such a good song man. catchy as fuck, great instrumental, catchy vocals and lyrics, banger chorus, and I’ve always been partial to more poppy linkin park. and by that I mean Linkin park taking on a poppier sound, not Linkin park x Poppy. Although that would be sick. I’d love that actually.

but yeah. Great song. Came on when I was shuffling my playlist on a walk and I looped it back like… 6 times LMAO.

they should play it live more.
