i discovered the pop punk band Tonight Alive because I went to type “Toni Braxton” in the Spotify search bar, and when I got to “Toni”, Tonight Alive’s profile popped up and I was just like “well I have to check these guys out”
saw the cover of their first album and immediately knew “oh this band is gonna go HARD” and they did.

What makes you really LOVE an album
for me, the music obviously is the main thing. If the song sounds good to my ears and makes my brain happy, I like it. But on top of that, having an album cover that looks like how the album sounds (which a lot of albums do).
bad music videos and lack of vinyl content can’t RUIN an album for me, but I really appreciate good music videos and plenty of vinyl content (different pressings, colors, well designed vinyl packaging, posters, etc).
only limits: openers setlists cannot be more than 10 songs, Weezer’s set list can’t be more than 35 songs. also the openers have to be alive so I’m sorry you can’t have Elvis open for Weezer.

I love so many genres and feel inspired by so many genres and musicians that I can’t decide. do I wanna make heavy metal/metalcore? weezer-inspired power pop? synthy alt rock? funk rock? Pop punk? Trip hop? Idk what to decide!
I have a name down, I have what instrument I’d wanna be on (guitar, once I get one), But it’s kinda hard to start writing music with no guitar, for one, and no genre idea in mind.

tbh I miss the story time animation era. I still think that Storytime animation is a great genre and it’s one of my favorite eras to go back to on YouTube. it’s a shame that it’s kinda died out :/
now, it’s been a month or 2 since I’ve watched this movie, but with The Batman II coming out soon, it got me thinking about it again and…
is this a safe space to say I prefer The Batman to The Dark Knight?
but oh my god is The Batman amazing. Batman is actually a DETECTIVE in this movie, they managed to make a perfectly reimagined Riddler, the whole movie is so dark and grimy and I think that aesthetic for Gotham works super well. Ik a lot of people don’t like Battinson but I personally had no problem with him. I’ve seen a lot of valid criticisms of Battinson, and I get it At least you’re not my dad who only hates battinson becaise Robert Pattinson acted in Twilight. That’s seriously his only reason he’s given as to why he hates Battinson. I love how actually violent Batman gets in this movie. That scene where he dislocates that one dudes shoulder and beats the hell out of him genuinely sticks with me. I love how they portray the crimes in this movie. They feel so real, like this shit could actually happen the way it plays out in the movie.
I’m super hyped for The Batman II. I can’t wait to see how they expand the world, how winter will play into the story, and just to return to this version of the caped crusader again.
i still remember back in Season 0, Green Arrow was one of the most powerful characters in the game, but we have way more intricate kits, more counters, more everything. so do you think if green arrow was reverted back to how he was before the nerfs, would he break the game again or would it just not leave an impact?
I’m not gonna go into every character in the post (I’m open to any question but I don’t wanna type all that) so I’m gonna go into the undecided.
I could see Ghost Rider and Shuma-Gorath being either vanguards or duelists. Ghost Rider is just a big British character, so he could easily just be a non-shield tank that focuses more on being a literal tank, maybe upwards of 850 health? Shuma Gorath can literally do anything, but I don’t see him as being a healer. he’s all about chaos and destruction and taking over realms and imo I feel like his really cool powers would be wasted if they made him a strategist. same goes for Satana Hellstrom. she‘s super powerful, so she could easily be either a tank or dps.
Malekith, Mysterio, and Silver Surfer are all characters I could see being either Duelists or Strategists. the thing with magic and tech is that you can easily make it heal people and no one will question anything. Malekith does actually have a regenerative healing factor, so it’s easy to make his normal magic heal and harm. Mysterio presents as magical but is really technological. The famous green mist that is always surrounding him could maybe give off a healing effect to anyone in it? I had a funny idea where he could have healing drones disguised as magical healing clouds or something. Silver surfer I think could lean more onto the STRATEGY side of strategist, maybe he could have move where he can send out his board to reel his teammate back in kinda like Lifeweaver from Overwatch. He could send out his board to just displace an enemy. maybe he could have a move where he gives himself a ton of shield, and then combine that with a teleportatio? he could teleport in front of a teammate, take all the damage, push the enemy back with his board, and then GTFO before anyone kills him.
MODOK could be anything. He’s big and beefy enough for a main vanguard, he puts out hella damage, and he’s got a bunch of tech that could be used to heal. Ms. Marvel really depends on which version they wanna go with, hard light or stretchy.

I feel left out in certain musical spaces sometimes because there’s always at least one popular band in the “big 4“ of every genre that I don’t listen to/don’t like.
I love the Nu-metal community but I don’t like Korn, Deftones, or a majority of linkin park’s old music
I love the emo community (sometimes) but I don’t like MCR or Pierce The Veil
I love the rap community but I don’t like Kendrick Lamar or J. Cole or Drake or Don Toliver.
it’s not even because they’re popular. idgaf how many streams an artist has, if I like the music I’ll listen to it. If I don’t like the music I don’t listen to it, but man I just can’t help but feel like an outsider sometimes. These artist get so much discussion because of how popular they are that Im not involved in because I don’t like them. Idk, im just kinda venting. Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?
