As an Indian man, I feel she's spot on about the entitlement of white chefs and the bias, marginalisation and presumption of minorities only being able to cook 'their' ethnicity's cusinies well.

If Vikram cooks neopolitan clay oven baked pizza it must automatically be worse than bob or dorothy's equivalent, because bob and dorothy are white which means they know how to cook italian, also mexican, spanish, indian, chinese, thai and everything else under the sun. But vikram only knows how to cook a curry and naan bread so his pizza must be bad. I've seem it all so many times now.
