I'm a textile artist and hate that some people immediately assume my work is AI-generated

Such wild times, most of people can’t even tell what’s AI and what’s real anymore.

To deal with this, they’d rather use an AI tool than do a quick internet search like the "old times".

Most of my work is mixed media (hand embroidery + watercolor), but even explaining this in my posts, I still get comments like these.

People tend to forget that the “AI style” was made by real artists first, and copied by machines later. It's like accusing Studio Ghibli of using AI because their art style looks like "AI art".

Some of my work was created back in 2017!

I'm tired, boss...
