How do I (22M)tell whether I pushed for emotional intimacy too early with a girl (22F) or we were just incompatible?

So long story short I have been seeing a girl who had 2 exes before me . Nothing about it and we got along well decently. I think we broadly believed that we were compatible and have been talking to each other for a month or so . Day before Yesterday though I asked her about why she broke up with her exes and she said that she doesn't want to go there since those are closed chapters now . I told her that it's the correct way of thinking but a lot of times you can tell if you are compatible with a person based on why they didn't feel a previous relationship was inadequate and if that can repeat now .

It also helps spots red flags early since you know if they expect something from you that you won't be able to satisfy and that could build resentment.she kinda got offended about me not dropping the topic and asked me if it was this important . I told her that it kinda was since you gotta be emotionally intimate with a person you wanna be with long term . She can ofc take more time if she wants but I'd like to completely emotionally intimate before committing long term .

I told her that we can continue being thid way for another month if that what she wants .

She said that she kinda understood where I was coming from but believed that emotional intimacy is a big ask and she needs to be actually in a long term relationship before going there and I said well then perhaps we aren't compatible and told her that we can amicably end this here .

She didn't say much then but a mutual friend who introduced us told me that if I want I can still apologise and make everything right between me and her but Idk if I should do that .

If your country is not in the world cup then who are you rooting for ? If your country still is then who would you root for if they were eliminated ?

All things considered it's looking like a Argentina France final again . Who would you support in that case ? If you aren't Argentine or brazilian then who would you support if they play in the semis ?

How confident are you about Argentina's chances against France and spain?

I know it's getting a bit too ahead of myself but all things considered I think Argentina is 100% going to the semis easily . Its 70/30 for Argentina against Brazil/England then and then a bit of tossup against France imo . Spain is a bit rusty so I honestly feel argentina might just beat them without extra time .

If dems win back both house and senate then do more Epstein files get released ?

A part of me believes that their donors who might get into trouble because of it might just ask them to ignore it and move on since it's "old " news now . That or the next two years are just Trump and his cabinet being impeached.

What is the catholic view on Max Weber's work ?

In his 1905 work webber argued that capitalism was inherently intertwined with Protestant faiths since Protestant faiths generally encouraged working hard as a spiritual duty . He argued that since The Reformation dismantled the concept of monastic holiness. It made all secular occupations a "calling" (Beruf). A baker or merchant served God just as much as a priest, transforming daily economic labor into a moral obligation.

I apologise if the next part sounds divisive but my intentions aren't to hurt your faith in anyway.

He also argued that since catholics can just sin and then relieve it through regular Confession. He claimed that since Protestants don't do that they channel it inwards and work harder . He made a few other arguments which essentially boiled down to how church itself was a main reason why the catholic countries were poor since the church encouraged a hermit like lifestyle while Protestants were encouraged to work harder . He attributed the same phenomenon to why Calvinists , Presbyterians and other Protestants in the US and Canada were rich and sucessful while Latin America was poor .

Again I would like to clarify that the entire post is academic in nature and I don't endorse any of his views that hurt anyone's faith here .if you feel so I apologise .

Also kinda unrelated but I am curious about a different thing . Would a catholic agree with a DSA member on economic issues since broadly they have the same goals when it comes to how the government should spend money ? Thanks a lot and good day .

Do you think barca surpasses real in the all time la liga tally in the next decade ?

In 2000 real had 27 titles compared to Barca's 16. Today it's 29 for barca and 36 for real . The gap has slightly narrowed so do you think that barca overtakes real by 2040 ?

Its a tall ask since 7 titles is still a lot and barca would have to go on a generational run again but it's not entirely impossible since laliga has been a two horse race for quite sometime. I can see barca winning 2 more titles by 2030 . If real wins the other 2 then the gap doesn't narrow ofc but ofc can't predict that .

If the gap is about 5 titles heading into 2030 though then I can see both being more or less even in 2040 though. If that happens then it will be the first time since 1961 when real haven't been the most successful club in Spain. Crazy to think of

What's the most ridiculous right wing conspiracy theory that have heard ?

I once had a guy unironically tell me that globalist orgs "encourage transgender" because men that are manly are "easy to control" when the inevitable take over happens .

To clarify I am not endorsing the theory ofc , just need a laugh
