Where does one begin formalized diagnosing?
I'm led to believe that my mother has dementia. Her thought processes are incoherent, she can't deduce information, and she's very doubtful and in disbelief about rudimentary facts. She's also one to go from 0 to 100 without provocation about things from the past that most folks in her life (including myself) have let go. Her father had it prior to him not being able to take care of himself which led to him moving in with us until his passing.
It's a lot and I feel sad and helpless, thank you for your help! ❤️
