What would YOU have wanted from a 5th Acceleracers movie? How would you have liked them to have finished it?

Give me your Slayer hot takes. I’ll go first.

I think Slayer should have stuck with the sound they started to explore on Diabolus/GHUA. I know it was mostly influenced by nu metal at the time, but there are parts on these records that are really sick, even today. I think if they kept going down this route, they could have become reborn as a thrash-influenced metalcore band. Imagining Slayer trying to sound less like Korn and more like Hatebreed is something I think could have come out really sick, especially with Jeff’s hardcore roots.

In retrospect, I don’t really go back to Christ Illusion as much as I do these two albums. It’s cool, but it really is just reheated leftovers from Seasons in the Abyss, with a healthy dose of Machine Head in there. Not bad, but fairly derivative. But this? Slayer was changing with the times, and I think they were stating to catch up. Put them in the studio with Chris Harris circa 2003, and I think they could have come out with the hardest album of their whole career.

What do you guys think?

I lowkey miss when the eyes were able to be more expressive

I get it, it was a high tech suit stark suit, but he still had the expressive eyes even when he was working in his PJ’s. Deadpool just wears a leather mask over his face, but his eyes move and nobody ever complained about it. The expressive eyes are one of my favorite parts of Spidey’s design. The BND suit looks perfect, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss the lenses of the previous movies.

I know we never got Carnage in the Raimi continuity, but if you could a pick an actor in the late 2000’s / early 2010’s who could have done the job, who do you think it could have been?
