One of the things that gets me angry is the way DC treated Barbara in The Killing Joke. I really wish they would retcon that scene completely.
I did find a fanfic about that, and even wrote a poem about it, but I think that WASN'T enough.
Are there any other fanfics where Batgirl kicks the Joker's ass, thus averting that scene? Any answer is appreciated?
On October 2025, I got so angry over how DC treated Barbara in The Killing Joke that I want that scene to be retconned completely. So I wrote a free verse poem about this, and released it on ArchiveOfOurOwn. Enjoy.

barbara hears a knock on the joker's door.
coming! she said.
she opens it and sees the joker with a gun. bang! poor barbara - shot in the spine. she DOESN'T deserve that.
flash. it was all a premonition. barbara bolts up.
'i'm gonna have to change that vision', she muttered to herself.
she decides to listen to some fall of troy on her portable cd player with headphones.
the powerful guitars and vocals that remind you of rush or coheed and cambria. or maximum the hormone, of course.
hours later, barbara was at her father's home. she hears that knock again.
i know you're out there, joker! she bellowed.
she looks through the peephole. she always knew the joker was there.
in comes her time to fight back.
she opens the door, and gives the joker a swift kick in the face. she calls for her father - commissioner gordon - to arrest the joker.
the joker was put on trial and was sentenced to life without parole in maximum-security prison. the prison guards threw away the key.
now the joker gets his own 'one bad day'.

This is a weird question for me to ask, but I just wanna know if there are any films where the cast were entirely credited under pseudonyms. If filmmakers can be credited under names like Alan Smithee, why not actors (just not for disowning the film, but for anonymity purposes)?
I really wish this subreddit would get rid of character limits when it comes to posts like this.
