How awesome does it feel to do a massive poop at home at the end of the day?

I’m a big advocate for the morning poop but the other day I had a fairly big day at work that left me quite physically tired and I had to do a huge poop when I got home. And it felt proper amazing to do that poop. I remember I had a huge endorphin rush during and afterwards which was a great feeling

Can anyone else relate?

What is the process like to become a driving instructor/examiner in Australia?

When I was going through the process of learning to drive and doing driving tests I was unemployed. So that became my entire life for a few months and it made me naturally quite curious about what it would be like to work as a driving instructor or examiner

I think that of the two I would prefer being an examiner. Instructor would be an incredibly rewarding job but you’re likely going to consistently have students who are driving for the very first time in your car and the thought of that is terrifying whereas at least with the examiner they have to have done a certain number of hours and have likely gone through the lessons. Crashes/mishaps less likely. I’m sure they no doubt happen but I’d much rather have a more experienced driver

But yeah I feel like if I was an examiner I’d be one of those fake angry guys that keeps a straight face at all times and then when the student is passed pretend they’ve failed and then go “congratulations legend”

I looked into the process of becoming one out of curiosity. Definitely sounds like a pretty grueling process but worth it in the end I imagine!

Has anyone here gone through the process before?

What do we think of Punters Politics?

I will be the first to admit that I am one of those people who follows him on social media, but not super closely

He seems like a good bloke and has quickly become an important voice and political commentator. From what I understand he’s left leaning, but isn’t exclusively tied to a political party and is a big advocate for that. He has said on record he doesn’t agree with party loyalty it’s all about the different policies for him. What I appreciate about him is he’s willing to chat to all sides, and has had multiple sides on his podcast

He’s been a huge campaigner for taxing gas, only downside is I feel like that in itself is something that if it was doable it would have just been done by now…so while I appreciate his endeavor and effort I think he may need to lower his expectations regarding that one

Who is everyone’s fave comedy act that either is based in or regularly comes to Perth?

I’ve seen a few stand up comedy acts in my time. Mostly from interstate but a few from Perth

The Perth based people I’ve seen are Peter Rowsthorn, Nikki Justice and Colin Ebsworth. I am also aware that Mike Goldstein the American from The Hundred lived in Perth for a few years also and I’ve seen him live too

I’ve heard good things about Blake Richardson, Brodi Snook, Luke Ryan and Steve Collins. Would love to hear of more names

What is the process like to get into the trade of becoming a driving instructor/examiner in Australia?

What’s the process like to become a racehorse jockey in Australia?

I’d be intrigued to know

There was a guy I briefly knew in high school that became an apprentice jockey afterwards but he gave up after a year or so

Does Dave Anthony still do stand up comedy?

I would be fascinated to know if he does or not. He seems nowadays to be more in the world of doing his podcasts live on stage as opposed to solo stand up comedy sets

Would you rather have Dave Hughes or Andy Lee as the next senior coach?

I think both would be passionate about the club, I suspect Andy would be far more level headed than Hughesy during a crisis, but then again Hughesy would be able to give the Blues a proper good spray

The fans that copped Michael O’Loughlin in their face…where are they now?

I was just watching the Friday night footy and they showed the highlight reel of Michael O’Loughlin kicking the goal against the Eagles, I’m unsure what year exactly but had to be 05-06ish and it made me wonder…does anyone know where those fans are now?

Imagine if that moment put them off going to the footy ever again

Anyone know how Elijah is doing?

Apologies in advance if this question is considered too intrusive. However I’d be fascinated to know/am hopeful that he’s doing better

Has the club disclosed any recent updates about him?

Question for woodwork, metalwork and Design and Technology teachers

I was wondering if woodwork and metalwork teachers in particular have to have experience working in trades prior to teaching those classes full-time?

I ask because it’s a very specific class being taught and you’re working with different machinery etc. so I have to imagine when these people go to Uni to get their teaching degrees they’d probably be recommended to have done a trade in something like carpentry perhaps?

Wearing your Big W uniform/bringing your Big W bag into Kmart

Has anyone here ever done this before or for Kmart staff, seen it happen? And if so how did it go? I can imagine the Kmart managers may not have been too happy to see the enemy be represented

Does anyone here know if you still need a vaccine to get into Coles?

I’ve got a friend from WA (well I say friend we barely speak nowadays) who chose not to get the Covid vaccine. So he lost his job at the end of 2021 when the mandates came in, and then at the start of 2022 there became vaccine mandates to go to a lot of places and he used to go to Coles for his groceries but because of the vaccine mandate he hasn’t been there since. He instead goes to the local IGA which didn’t agree with that mandate so anyone could walk in

Anyway his local IGA has just closed and he will need to return to Coles. He still hasn’t had his covid vaccine and doesn’t want to, but he also wants to be able to buy his groceries so he wondered if he can enter Coles unvaccinated in 2026?

Memories/Experiences with the Coles Alcohol free beverages

Hi All! New to Reddit and this is my second ever post

So today I was doing my groceries in Coles and I walked past something me and my friends used to use as a joke when were younger which are the alcohol free versions of alcoholic beverages that are available on the shelves

Did anyone here ever consume them at any point? And if so what did we think?

We always used to joke about them, but I never once had one from there. The only time I’ve ever drank an alcohol free version of anything was Carlton Zero when that first came out, but I don’t think I got it from Coles! Does anyone here have them regularly and if so what do you recommend?
