Every single frame has been criticized to death, except one that I think has the most egregious offense.
In the original show, Toph discovering metalbending is a big scene. Importantly, it starts with the words "Even you can't bend metal" to set that fact. Nobody has ever bent metal before.
Then Toph starts experimenting. Using her seismic sense, she spots a few large chunks of earth in the metal. We see this, she sees this, and we see her see this. She tries a little more, slowly revealing more bits of earth in the metal. By now, we see what's happening.
She does an experimental punch, seeing if her theory holds up. It does. Toph has just invented a new type of bending. Camera cuts away, we hear metal screeching and tearing, and the rest of the scene plays out. Toph traps her kidnappers with metalbending, declares herself the greatest earthbender in the world, and heads off.
Then, in NATLA, she just.. tears the cage open. One little seismic sense scene and she's just metalbending no problem. If she discovers it and just starts metalbending like that I cannot believe that nobody ever did it before. Yun certainly would have figured it out.
Edit: And how could I have forgotten that god awful line, "I'm Toph Beifong, and I just invented metalbending!" So cringe inducing and out of character! Toph is not proud of being a Beifong, and especially shouldn't be after discovering that the Beifongs are WAR PROFITEERING and playing both sides!
I know why they did it, for the stupid "second screen viewers" policy, but that shit is ruining everything Netflix produces. I really hope Blue Eye Samurai season 2 doesn't fall victim to it.
Yuri anime has always been seen as less profitable than everything else, including yaoi and het romances. A yuri anime that is getting permissions to use music by big names like Weezer, Nirvana, Bon Jovi, and Aerosmith is MASSIVE. And it got a personal endorsement from Dave Grohl himself saying that Kurt Cobain would have loved it.
So even if you're one of those people who hates it, you need to admit that a yuri anime getting this much traction can only benefit the genre as a whole.
First image is the base image I am tracing over, second is with the base image invisible, third is the result when I use the bucket tool.
I am filling with line art detection, and set to active layer only. The active layer is the traced chest, so it should not be detecting line art on my base image.
Reproduce by adding a similar image, tracing some lines over it, then try to fill in those lines with bucket tool set to line art detection on the active layer, making sure the active layer is your tracing.
This is the first book I ever bought as a kid. Almost 14 years ago now, I bought it at my schools Scholastic fair. I've been thinking about getting rid of my sizeable collection of Wimpy Kid books, as I have outgrown the series largely and if I ever wanted to read them again I could get epubs of them easily, but this really holds a special place in my heart and I don't know how I can part with it.
I can give away most of them easily enough, but probably not my copy of the first book because it's pretty damaged. As you can see from the pictures Cabin Fever is pretty well loved and I don't think anyone would pay for it.
Not sure what changed to make this happen, the only thing I have done since I was playing yesterday was restart my computer and plug in new speakers, but I highly doubt the audio output has anything to do with loading saves.
The research team makes sure all subjects are decimated when they are no longer needed, sometimes we get bored.
This is my first playthrough by the way, so no spoilers please.
I can dump two entire mags into these big guys and they just keep swinging. I have no more stimpaks and nothing else to heal and my ammo is running low. I don't want to go all the way back to Novac just so I don't fucking die on my next encounter.
I cannot resize it.
These are not related in any way, just two coincidences.
Also, I am not limiting myself in this search to yuri mangas. Any GL media, webtoons, novels, etc. In terms of mechas, Witch From Mercury is all I have found. For superheroes, there is Honey Trap and Rapid Rabbit, which was great, and a webtoon called My Sweet Archenemy.
Beyond that I cannot find anything. Please yuri lords save me.
I own three Bethesda games, Skyrim, Oblivion, and New Vegas. Yes I am transgender. When I try to launch any of these games it simply does not launch. The game never even opened.
I tried every single Proton version on Skyrim and a few of them on Oblivion and New Vegas. Same problem persists. I have no idea what is happening and my computer won't let me go nuclear and hard reinstall the OS like I wanted to when this started a few months ago.
Please help thank you.
There is not much of a community for GL Webtoons, and Webtoons as a company does little to support GL creators on the platform, so this is my personally curated list of GL Webtoons. As a rule, I will only add things I have personally read through and enjoyed, and I will add canvas webtoons ONLY, exceptions may be made in rare circumstances but I will NEVER suggest something you need to pay to read.
Vampire X Hunter is about a vampire hunter who sets out to hunt and kill Dracula, only to find out that her name is Carmilla now. And shes hot. Updates are pretty infrequent, but it was the reason I downloaded the webtoons app and it is really fucking good, so that is why I am prioritizing it on this post.
Apollonia is a sci-fi western following a group of bounty hunters on the prison planet Purgatoire. It has pretty in depth world building that we are still getting through, interesting characters that we get lots of time with as individuals, and hype moments and aura. The author took inspiration from RWBY with many things.
Walpurgis Night is one I am sure many of you have seen, even if you didn't know the webtoons name or even of its existence. A lot of the artists work has been posted on r/wholesomeyuri in the past week. The webtoon itself follows Maria, who is very new to the whole world of magic and witches, and Dina, who is teaching her about magic. It is a hard one to do justice with a brief description, just trust me that it's peak.
Popstar Jealousy is an enemies/rivals to lovers following a famous pop star and a rock star. They are still not admitting that they like the other one. Very slow burn but it's a good slow burn.
Update 6-30-26 Upon posting I just posted the first few that came to mind, these are after looking deeper through my subscriptions.
Animal Bodies follows two monster women, and they are actually monstrous. The narrative alternates between a cottagecore slice of life following them in a long established relationship and the main story, following them after first meeting and establishing their relationship. Another one with cool worldbuilding and shit.
Eldritch Darling is the story of a lovable dork and her girlfriend who is an otherworldly eldritch monster from the stars. One of my all time favorites, has a larger story arc going on but lots of one shot slice of life.
It's Okay To Like Girls has a title which speaks nothing but the truth. The story is about a girl first coming to terms with her sexuality after realizing she has a crush on a girl. Can be heavier at times and deals with topics of homophobia and shitty families.
Woe Is I is a hard story to define. The author took a lot of inspiration from Scott Pilgrim in terms of how the world works, so if that sounds cool to you then I suggest you check it out.
Vowrune and Love Is A Riddle are both made by the same creator and take place in the same universe. Vowrune is completed, while Love Is A Riddle is ongoing. I suggest reading Vowrune first, as it has most of the exposition for the universes world and magic, and Love Is A Riddle features a crossover with Vowrune that has some minor spoilers.
Realta is probably the only Originals Webtoon I will ever put here, and that's because it is so different from other Originals. It's VERY slow burn romance wise, but it has an interesting story that keeps things moving. In the world of Realta, people are born with distinct features based on their star signs. This aspect of the world is fleshed out well and explored in depth. If you're just here for the romance, Realta may not be for you, but if you want an in depth fantasy story this is a great read.
My Sweet Archenemy is about a supervillain trying to get the attention of her nemesis, a superhero who is extremely overworked.
I will update this post whenever I have a new one to add.
I have a lot of problems on my OS that I cannot undo, they have been plaguing me and getting worse for months now. I need to go nuclear and completely factory reset the whole thing. Wipe drives and shit. How do I do this? I've looked at so many videos and stuff and none of them helped.
After many months of testing and experimenting, the research department (me and 20 cans of monster energy) has come to the conclusion that Umas are NOT the enemy.
While they bear a striking resemblance to our foe, many of them are in fact lesbians. The jortse features they bear are merely cosmetic. They all undertook a great sacrifice, ridding their world of hoses and stealing their power. But in doing so, they now bear the mark of the beasts (ears and tail).
Our final thoughts are that donkeys are more worthy of decimation than Umas. As for whether or not we should decimate donkeys.. I'm gonna need another 20 cans.
I have seen some people who hate Green Yuri that just DESPISE it. Like they pour so much of their being into hating it. And I agree, it is a very slow moving story and there's definitely some stuff lacking, but I still enjoy it. It's a quiet story.
But apparently there's a super toxic and annoying fandom around it? I have never seen this, I do not know where these haters are seeing a bad fandom around Green Yuri but it sure looks like delusion to me.
I like Mint so far, but it has problems. Finding apps with Mint support is hard because most things seem to be built for more mainstream versions of Linux like Arch. I've also just been having general issues with my OS and have decided I want to switch, are there any suggestions that are similar to Mint UI wise?
I do not know what this "data" folder is but about 90% of my hard drive is partitioned to it and I cannot change it. I need more storage space on my computer so I can use the fucking thing.
