Having grown up on the Christopher Reeve Superman films of the 70s and 80s, and pretty disgusted with the latest Superman film, I went into the 2026 Supergirl movie with the absolute lowest hopes and expectations. Much to my surprise, it was a visual delight. The detailed sets, gorgeous cinematography and lighting aspects are simply spectacular. And, nearly every interior scene embodied the Cassette Futurism aesthetic with near perfection. I attached a couple screenshots. What do you think? If you have not seen this film, I would recommend.

It was such a fixture in movies in the early 2000s and seems to have just disappeared.

I would live to see if anyone else has additional pictures of the interior. In addition to the standard arcade games they had an indoor gasoline-powered go-kart track which now seems insane
