[Windows][1990s] Educational game
It was an educational game for Windows. I remember the main menu had two cartoon chipmunks or squirrels, a boy and a girl. The girl wore a pink or red bow. There were four activities to choose from. I think the first one was a song or video, one was a treasure hunt, one was a coloring/drawing activity, and there were a few others I can't remember. I spent my entire childhood playing this game, but I can't find any information about it online, so I'm starting to wonder if anyone else remembers it. I'd love to find it again.
If you're like me and you've been hesitant to replace your globe liner because you think it's difficult, don't be! It's actually much easier than it looks.
For the longest time, I kept putting off replacing my liner because I thought it was going to be complicated, time-consuming, and I was worried I'd mess something up. I finally bought the replacement liner... and then let it sit for a few weeks.
This morning I woke up, looked at all the poop stuck to the old liner (the whole reason I was replacing it in the first place), sighed, and decided, "Today's the day."
I watched a tutorial and thought, "Wait... that's it?"
I live in a small apartment with a tiny bathroom. I don't have a backyard or a hose, so if that's what's stopping you, don't worry! I opened up a garbage bag and cut it open so I could use it as a clean work surface while taking everything apart.
The entire process was basically just unscrewing things. There are 14 screws total. Then you use a flathead screwdriver to remove the piece that holds the liner in place.
Since I already had everything apart, I decided to give it a deep clean. I took each piece to the bathtub and hand washed and scrubbed everything. Then I sprayed each piece with Nature's Miracle Odor Eliminator, let it sit for about 15 minutes on each side, wiped it dry, and let everything air dry for a few hours.
While it was drying, I filled a small backup litter box with litter so my cat would still have somewhere to go while I was working.
Honestly, you can skip a lot of the cleaning steps I did, but I figured I might as well take advantage of having it completely disassembled.
Putting it back together was incredibly easy. Everything lined up perfectly, all the pieces fit exactly where they belonged, and now I have a super clean Litter-Robot with a brand new liner!
If you've been putting this job off because it seems intimidating, I promise it's much easier than it looks. 😊
Did any of the other crazes reach this point? At this point, this is beyond ridiculous.
Business owners and international travelers: How do you handle language barriers?
I own a boat rental company, and one of the biggest challenges I face is the language barrier. I love having international customers. They're almost always friendly, respectful, and a pleasure to work with. The problem isn't the customers themselves. It's making sure we're able to communicate clearly, especially when safety is involved.
Before every rental, we go over the safety rules, explain how the equipment works, and answer any questions. I also send important information through WhatsApp in both English and the customer's native language whenever possible.
The problem is that many customers will nod and say they understand, but later it's clear they missed important information. Sometimes they rush through the safety briefing because they're excited to get on the water. If something unexpected happens during the rental and I need to call them, the language barrier can make solving the problem much more difficult.
So I'd love to hear from both sides.
For international travelers: What helps you understand safety instructions when you're visiting another country? Is there anything businesses have done that made communication much easier?
For business owners: What systems, apps, or procedures have worked for you when serving customers who speak little or no English?
How do you handle customers who don't speak much English when clear communication is a critical part of your business?
I run a boat rental company, and I've noticed that almost every time I have customers with very limited English, something ends up going wrong. Most of the time, it comes down to the communication barrier, not because they're bad customers.
I already use WhatsApp for international numbers, and I send important information in both English and their native language. Even with that, it doesn't seem to be enough.
Before every rental, we go over all of the safety instructions, explain the equipment, and review the rules. During the briefing, many customers simply nod and say they understand. Some even try to rush through it. Later, it's obvious that they didn't fully understand what we explained, which can create safety issues or other problems.
The biggest challenge is when something unexpected happens during the rental and I need to communicate with them over the phone. If we can't understand each other, it becomes much harder to solve the problem quickly.
I genuinely enjoy having international customers. They're almost always friendly, respectful, and great to work with. I'm not trying to complain about them at all. I just want to find a better way to communicate because I've had far more issues caused by language barriers than I have with customers who speak fluent English.
For those of you who run businesses that rely on clear communication, especially in situations involving safety, what has worked for you? I'm open to any suggestions.
⚠️Be careful of this website. It's a scam https://kindcolor.com/
https://kindcolor.com/ is a scam website. If you Google search for NeeDoh, unfortunately, this website is one of the first ones that shows up, and it looks so legit. They are using the original logo, and the website looks clean. It's a scam!
Why did you choose your current clumping clay litter to use with your Litter-Robot?
I'm putting together a spreadsheet that breaks down the differences between clumping clay litters only, since they're generally considered the best type of litter for the Litter-Robot.
While I'm doing my research, I'd really love to hear from all of you.
What made you choose the litter brand you currently use?
Was it simply because it was cheaper or easy to find at your local store? Or did you try several brands and find that one tracked less, created less dust, controlled odor better, or clumped more effectively? Did you do a lot of research, or did your veterinarian recommend a specific brand for a particular reason?
I'm genuinely interested in hearing your experiences, so if you have a few minutes, I'd really appreciate you sharing your thoughts.
For my research, I'm comparing each brand to understand what actually makes one better than another. Some of the things I'm looking at include:
- Grain size
- Clumping speed, strength, and shape
- Dust levels and dust filtration
- Odor control technology
- Tracking resistance
- Unscented odor control (I prefer litters that use activated carbon or baking soda instead of heavy floral perfumes.)
- Chemical additives and ingredients
- Bacterial growth
- Ammonia prevention
- Germ tracking throughout the home
- Litter box degradation over time
- Why some brands cost significantly more than others
- Which litters are more likely to stick to cats' paws
- Overall hygiene and cleanliness
I think all of these factors are important, even if you scoop the litter box multiple times a day.
Daily scooping removes the waste you can see, but it doesn't eliminate microscopic contamination. That's why I'm trying to understand which litter performs the best not just in convenience, but also in cleanliness, dust control, odor control, and overall long-term hygiene.
I literally got jump-scared when I saw this image while I was swiping through pictures of this dress.
YouTube's home feed SUCK. They prioritizes engagement over discovery.
In order for YouTube to make the big money, it has to make you watch long-ass ads. And how do they do that? By keeping you on the platform as long as possible. I mean, that sucks, but whatever. There are ways around the ads, so I don't really care. The problem is that these "genius" managers, or whoever is controlling this, thought the best way to do that was by constantly recommending videos you've already watched. Really? Yeah, because I love watching a movie twice in a row. Such a dumb concept.
I mean, if they recommend a video I liked from a few years ago, that's nice. But don't recommend stuff I just watched recently, or even within the last year. My main feed should always be filled with new videos that match my interests, not mostly videos I've already watched with only a few new ones mixed in.
Imagine opening TikTok, Shorts, or Reels and seeing the same videos you watched last week. Yeah, that would suck.
I get that you want to make money, but at least do it right. Do what every other platform with millions of users does: flood my feed with new stuff that matches my interests. I want to watch new, cool things, not the same video I watched a few weeks ago! Ugh... so annoying!
And don't come at me with, "Am I the only one who just clicks on my subscriptions and watches from there?" I rarely subscribe to channels. If I like a video, I'll only like that one video and save it. I don't just watch the same YouTuber covering different topics. Hard pass.
YouTube, pleassssse give us better video discovery, not the same videos we've already watched. You'll still make your money.

I honestly can't decide between the KOHLER PureWash E580 (Round) and the Bio Bidet USPA PRO (Round). I've spent way too much time researching bidets, and these are the final two I've narrowed it down to. It's driving me crazy because they both seem like great choices.
The Bio Bidet USPA PRO has pretty much every feature I want, but KOHLER has such a great reputation for quality and reliability that it was originally my first choice. Now I'm second-guessing myself. They are both almost the same price.
If you've owned one (or both), I'd really appreciate your opinion. Which would you choose and why?
Features they both have:
- Hybrid/continuous warm water
- Heated seat
- Warm air dryer
- Front & rear (feminine) wash (very important)
- Stainless steel self-cleaning nozzle
- Adjustable water pressure
- Adjustable water temperature
- Adjustable nozzle position
- Automatic deodorizer
- Soft/quiet-close lid
- Energy-saving mode
KOHLER PureWash E580 only:
- Side control panel (no remote)
- Air-bubble wash
- Turbo massage wash
Bio Bidet USPA PRO only
- Wireless remote
- LED night light
- User presets/memory settings
- Seat sensor
From what I can tell, the KOHLER seems to focus more on build quality and wash performance, while the Bio Bidet offers more convenience features. But i could be wrong.
Please help me make this decision.

Anyone here painted their wall for a projector instead of buying a screen?
I'm repainting one of my walls anyway, so I figured I'd make it as projector-friendly as possible instead of just using regular wall paint.
My plan is to skim coat the wall with USG Sheetrock Plus 3 Lightweight Joint Compound, sand it smooth, prime it with BEHR Drywall Plus Primer & Sealer, and then finish it with BEHR Premium Plus Flat in Ultra Pure White.
Has anyone here done something similar instead of buying a projector screen? If so, how did it turn out? Is there anything you would do differently or any advice you'd give before I start?
I'd also love to hear if you think there's a better paint or finish for a projector wall. My goal is to get the best image quality I can while still having a wall that looks good for everyday use.

I keep thinking the tag on the litter trap mat is a piece of poop, lol
It arrived few days ago and every time I pass by, I keep thinking it's a piece of poop 😅
How do I fix this? I tried screwing the screw back in, but because the anchor came out, it's not working.
Has anyone installed an inline carbon filter ventilation system for a Litter-Robot in an enclosed cabinet? (Please share your setup.)
I'm buying this cabinet to put my Litter-Robot 4 inside, and I want to install a 4" inline carbon filter ventilation system to help eliminate odors. The problem is, I have no idea where to mount the fan, carbon filter, or ducting.
If you've done something similar, could you please share pictures of your setup? I'd love to see how you installed everything and whether you mounted the fan and filter inside or outside the cabinet.
