What's a larper and would I be considered a larper?

So I've been a FNAF fan since 2016, but ive never played the games, Only watched YouTubers play it. Why? Because:

  1. The games were paid and I tried the demos but couldn't complete them since I was too scared and didn't know how to play

  2. I was more intrested and drawn to the lore, setting and story rather than the gameplay.

  3. The gameplay style isn't my thing tbh

But aside from that I still keep up with the lore and new releases. Plus the first two songs from The living tombstone are goated. I also fondly remember back in 2023 when the FNAF movie was announced and I SCREAMED in joy

Also does larper mean to follow the trend or what others are doing that's popular or is it faking liking something that others do? Or neither of those?

My goat Afrosenju got me into sekiro back in 2020 from his 2019 playthrough, have you guys watched him too?

This is a classic series from him, it's funny as hell to, pure nostalgia man. Esp the guardian ape and demon of hatred vids.

Aside from Cory, what other YouTubers do you guys genuinely find funny? And actually enjoy watch?

I'm gonna go first and say my goat:

AfroSenjuXL.

Leon is goated man, he's so funny, hilarious commentary and witty humor. Can relate to him alot too.

Also he does finish his series which is a plus, takes admits his mistakes and problems and takes accountability too.

And I just wished he didn't play hard games, like sure his rage moments are funny af to watch but he's got heart issues :(

Anyways you guys tell me urs.

Why is the corruption melody so upbeat and hopeful?

Is there a lore reason explaining it?

What are you guys' head canon?

And why is it similar to the tree of life ost?

Any Melodeath or Meloblack songs that have a similar melody to this ost?

From the game Darksiders 2, the corruption is basically like a mold that spreads and corrupts everything

"Corruption is a force of evil and malevolence that causes any who come into contact with it to commit evil acts, before falling irrevocably into madness"

The games theme is that life and death is a cycle and death is a good thing for some since it releases them from thier misery and that from death comes life.

The melody doesn't have to be one to one to the video but it should sound bittersweet and kinda hopeful?

Not really into Black metal, only listened to dissection, entombed and Judas Iscariot.

But I've heard people say black metal can sound beautiful as well, bittersweet too.

I also don't mind symphonic black metal recommendations.

Do you guys think the Nioh series will go down as a cult classic like the Ninja gaiden series in the coming years?

What I mean is that it having legendary status as being one of those hardcore games with deep mechanics and requiring mastery of the combat

Edit: as one user puts it, this is what I meant: Nioh series becoming a classic in the later years/decade

Can you guys help me find Bands that sound similar to Dissection?

I'm open to other black metal music that sounds melodic/bittersweet melody and not so bad production.

I like how dissection uses melodies and how prominently you can hear those melodies, not being muffled by the rest of the instruments.

What genre would you guys consider the latest albums from soilwork to be?

There first albums were melodic death metal (tho I couldn't hear the melodies in them)

Then midway through they mixed both harsh and clean vocals (my fav era)

Now with thier recent stuff, alot of it has cleaner vocals and more groovy/catchy sound.

Do you guys still consider them melodeath? I love both thier old and new work so I'm just a bit curious what others think

Need build recommendations

So I decided to fight all bosses on the highest difficulty in return of the rivals (great sage) why? I thought there would be some secret to defeating all bosses at that difficulty, there wasnt. Prob shaved off a year off my life to frustration.

Anyways recommend me builds so I can try them out.

My current builds (not really builds) are:

Wukong build: wukong armor and staff with the ocean pillar fragment.

Og wukong: og armor and black iron staff with all relics maxed out.

Loongscale build: Erlangs headpiece with loong scale armor plus cyan staff.

I'm in NG+ 6 with level 342

Shoutout to black myth wukong for having the worst input delay and input lag in any game I've ever seen.

Even after 6 new game plus playthroughs this problem still pisses me off, I don't know about keyboard users but on controller it's very bad. Like you'd expect a fast paced game like this would get the controls and inputs polished but even after many updates it's still not polished, I'm pretty sure many will agree with this:

  1. Pressing the button to drink gourd but it doesn't register.

  2. Pressing the trigger buttons togethor to use spirit but doesn't register and not consistent.

  3. Same goes for when using vessels, again input not registering

  4. For me sometimes dodge doesn't even work when I'm stunned.

Like c'mon if you're not gonna release the dlc anytime soon atleast iron out the gameplay, it's not like there's shortage of money Game Science 🫩🙄🤦

Which chapter has the worst boss roster?

For me it's probably chapter 5, chapter 6 comes close but chapter 5 side bosses aren't just fun man. The only one I enjoy is Yaksha king. Chapter 6 is still there with the side bosses being complete trash (except for wukong who's my fav fight)

A question about odachi in Nioh 3

Did they like nerf the odachi or something? In nioh 2 it was my main with fists and dual swords, but I'm noticing is that other weapons are doing more damage than the odachi despite the numbers??? Can someone explain please

Do you guys also do this?

I wear earphones (wired white ones to make them very visible for people to notice them) when I go out with the music at high volume to avoid awkward interactions with people, I don't know if I just prefer to keep to myself or I'm just lonely/depressed from some recent shit but I'm a very Boring guy to talk to, I don't have friends because I was always seen as the weird kid (plus dark skin racism) and I genuinely can't hold a Convo or make small talks.

My dad hates this and calls me a psycho

I know all this might sound weird or cringey but I feel comfortable sharing my thoughts on reddit since I don't have to show my face
