How exactly are Ynnari Drukhari “reformed”?

I heard somewhere that the Drukhari that are a part of the Ynnari are the less sadistic outcasts of Drukhari society. But the part that confused me is the fact that Ynnari Archons exist. Aren’t Archons the most depraved and sadistic among the Drukhari? I’m also curious on how exactly Drukhari change to fit into the Ynnari. I could have this wrong so feel free to correct me.

What relationship does Guilliman have with the Eldar?

I know everyone jokes about Guilliman x Yvraine (which I know isn’t canon) but I’ve also heard that he has allied with Eldrad Ulthran in the past? Like, is he on good enough terms with them that he might choose NOT to attack them given the opportunity?

Beastman Class Concept (feedback welcome!)

Following the result of this post. This took longer than I'd like to admit. I'm no expert on game balance so let me know what you think would need to be tweaked to make it better. Sorry if it’s pretty rough, I’m not great at graphic design either. Hope you enjoy.

After playing with Chordclaw, the Thunder Hammer feels so bad

Maybe it’s just a skill issue, but I feel like this is one of the most outdated weapons in the game. Yes, it has the capability to almost(?) one shot bosses and daemonhosts, but it is so middling when not used in a specific build. This thing is so clunky compared to the Chordclaw, which does the same thing 99% of the time and requires almost zero charge up. I really hope this weapon gets revisited in the future

(Undwarf) What are y’all’s actual thoughts on elves?

We all joke about hating the knife-ears but I’m curious what this community actually feels towards them. I actually quite like elves, they’re such a good counter to dwarves while also being more similar in more ways than either race would care to admit. Obviously it will vary from setting to setting, but this is generally true for traditional fantasy

In your opinion, what are the defining characteristics of a dwarf?

For me, it’s being short, having a beard, and loving valuable minerals. The height is my biggest problem with Elder Scrolls Dwemer, they’re pretty cool otherwise

To those who have built the Freeguild Command Corps

Is the face plate on this helmet able to be “flipped up”? I know you can remove it too but I’m not sure how good that would look

Why should I collect Eldar for 11E?

Hello all, I’ve recently been struck with some hobby paralysis around which faction I want to collect for 11th Edition. My original picks were Imperial Guard or Orks, but the Eldar have caught my eye recently. I really like the Ynnari side in particular, being able to take all the different types of Eldar. I’ve also come up with a very rough idea for vampire themed Eldar which would be really cool. Sell me!

Edit: Can’t believe I forgot them but Warp Spiders are also so cool to me.

What is each gang like personality-wise?

I’m making a Necromunda narrative so I’m interested in how gangs interact with others. Obviously it will vary from person to person, but generally what is each gangs personality?

Why aren’t naval/submarine settings explored more in 40k?

I feel like there’s so much missed opportunity there

Thinking about swapping to World Eaters from Alpha Legion

I’ve been collecting models for my Alpha Legion warband, the “Penumbral Serpents” for around a year now. I don’t have a ton, it’s just the Chaos Space Marine and Red Corsair Combat Patrol. Recently though, I’ve been feeling kind of burnt out of it. I’ve been looking into doing a World Eaters/Chaos Space Marine army and I feel like I would have much more fun kitbashing stuff for that. But at the same time, I don’t just want to abandon the guys I already have. What are the perks of collecting World Eaters?

Having some doubts about my warband, not sure if I should stick with it or do something else

Do Flawless Blade heads fit on regular marine bodies?

Hello my Chaos brothers. While Slaanesh has never exactly been my go-to flavor of Chaos, I can’t deny that the Flawless Blades have some neat head options. Are they able to fit on regular marines?

What models have had the biggest downgrade?

The old Chaos Cultists were so cool, they actually looked like Imperial citizens with scavenged gear. Now they’re just half naked dudes with gold masks. This is up there with the Sanguinary Guard refresh imo
