This camera was already considered outdated when new, and it’s still being made 10 years later
How long do yall think it will be before the PENTAX brand disappears entirely?
All of my DSLR’s and medium format cameras were Pentax cameras, as were the vast majority of my 35mm SLR’s.
Very few stores seem to stock them anymore.
I love that they are still using the K mount system, but it’s going to be the death of them. It’s become a mirrorless age.
The only way I can see them coming back is trying to edge out canons DSLR market share, or them actually trying to make a new mount and a mirrorless system.
What is your houses backstory?
For me, carpetbagger moved down here in 1866(my paternal greatx4 grandpa), bought out 5 different failed plantations. Started a nursery business. Torn down the houses and used the lumber to rebuild my house+4 managers houses+10 bunkhouses.

Cat vs Wabco scraper
Do y’all prefer older cat or wabco for scrapers?
Been looking at the equipment auction, planning on getting some. Couple of ex military Cats, as well as a 637. All mid 80’s. There were a couple of Wabco coming across the block as well, 70’s units mainly.
Have experience with old iron, our dozer is a late 70’s D9, our track loader is a 79 977

First solid meal post Nissen
Had clam chowder, it was solid. Very nice compared to the cream of whatever and the broths I have been drinking for the last 3 days. The doctor said I should be able to have bread in about 2-3 weeks.
The worst part is the gas pains. They are awful. Shoulders feel like they are trying to leave my body, hurts to breathe still.

Looking for a pair of black sneakers. The BS ones are about $50 more than the comparable adidas pair. Is it worth the price hike and the wait?
Got about 1500 pounds of grapes picked and packed today. About 50 boxes total

What do y’all smoke most often?
For hanging meats, definitely mutton shoulder, country ham, and pork sausage. Between those 3 I am easily over 1000 pounds a year (mutton for personal consumption, I like how it tastes because I grew up on it, and I still keep sheep so it’s relatively cheap for me)
For on the rack, probably pork belly. Slice it up and serve it with a mustard based sauce, real popular here. Sells well. For what I eat most at home probably mutton ribs. Second would likely be pork spare ribs
What do y’all smoke most often?
I grew up in a sheep raising family, so for me it’s usually mutton shoulder ribs or ham(or ground up into sausage).
For more normal meats it’s definitely country ham.
All smoked over live oak or pecan, whatever tree has been most in my way at the time I have been doing it.
