Age of Empires 2 vs XCOM 2?

I'm interested in both of these games and know I'd like them both from what I've seen. At this point, I just want to see some comparisons and know which game people generally prefer and why.

I'm particularly interested in these questions:

  1. Which game has the more fun core gameplay in your opinion?

  2. Which game is more replayable to you?

  3. Which game do you like more and why, whatever the reason?

  4. If you had to rate both out of 10 for how fun they are, what would you score them?

What would you say the replayability of these two games are, and which is more replayable? How would you score them out of 10 for replayability, with a 10 being something practically infinitely replayable like Minecraft?

By replayable, I don't mean which is "technically" more replayable. I know Skyrim technically infinite content with procedural quests, but that doesn't count because at one point you will have seen enough of it to get bored / stop being engaged. Replayability needs to include depth.

By replayable, I mean more like if you were stranded on an island forever, which game would you bring with you? Which game would give you thousands upon thousands of hours of real gameplay and fun?

Which game do you like more if only playing skirmish/multiplayer? Beyond All Reason doesn't have a campaign yet, so I'm removing SupCom's campaign from the equation for a more fair comparision.
