I read something about mattress encasements- do those really work? I'd like to be as proactive as possible, and if I can be a hard target then I could sleep better at night (pun intended)
California 2BR apartment, AC runs all day/night. Meter is in the room where my son and I hang out on the computer. I just set it up after thinking/reading about air quality and CO2. We never open the window because AC running, but also the screen frame is bent and there is a tree outside of it, spider webs outside of the window etc so bugs/spiders will get in until I replace the screen lol. Anyways, is this level ppm bad? What are some effects likely caused by this?

Obviously the modern tablets double the refresh rate to 120hz and have way higher brightness, though the older s5e has a 14ppi higher pixel density. With that out of the way, do the modern screens simply visually look more appealing?
Got my last check paid out yesterday. Can I apply today? When my severance check hits in a week, do I report that as severance pay, or not at all since it's severance?
And they shorted me a day of PTO, but claimed they already processed a severance check "in good faith". Yet instructed me to sign their do not sue paperwork for severance release.
They are a Canadian company closing up their US/California front. I guess I could be petty and hit them up for that day of PTO plus this morning's hours, but they might just kill the severance offer knowing I can't pursue them anyways.

Was trying to decide between the 128 and 256 model, woke up this morning with my mind made up and when I went to the Samsung website it had gone back to $999 lol. It still shows the trade in special, but will they likely do the $350 discount again? Maybe for 4th of July weekend?

Is gaming handheld on a larger tablet screen going to be unnatural on the eyes?
I figure since I'm playing some of the more immersive single player games on my steam deck LCD but it would probably be more satisfying on a larger screen, OLED etc.
I have the Kishi v3 Pro XL on the way and possibly deciding on the Samsung S11. Main use case being GeForce Now and Moonlight streaming to make use of the AMOLED display vs IPS alternatives. They also don't make the AMOLED in smaller variants from what I can find, so it's either larger tablet or a Lenovo with higher PPI but, you know, LCD

I can't play on browser either because GFN ignores my controller over USB, regardless if xinput on or off. The controller works in browser itself, just not the GFN page. Tried 3 different browsers as well and no luck
Any workarounds, at least for the app? I just need to get it logged in. Tried split screen mode but it's because the app launches the browser within the app vs externally. GFN doesn't give any options for these issues unfortunately
Deep Silver login shows my epic games link and character data
Credentials logged me into PROS, set birthdate and landed on home page. No Dead Island anywhere, my account has nothing but my name and birthdate. The only mention of DI2 is under "subscriptions" and it has a link to Deep Silver website.
In the game, I can select "PROS Rewards" and a box pops up saying my account is already linked. I scan the QR and it takes me to Deep Silver homepage. The link is just the general accounts.deepsilver
I am seeing no way to link my Epic Games login on the PROS website, it doesn't even acknowledge the game at all. Can't manage the login at the game level.
No tutorials, no support portal on either site. Anyone successfully navigate this? All of the threads I find are dead ends, people with the same problem and the thread died out. This is a great game but the developers really sh*t the bed here..
I'm trying to get my save file from Dead Island 2 through Epic to sync. I tried to refresh it by continuing gameplay through it on GFN, but logging in on the other device isn't picking it up. The other device has cloud saves enabled in epic settings, can't verify Epic on GFN unless there is a way to force Epic UI?
Anyone run into this issue and have insight? Steam usually drops by the Steam UI, but Epic just kinda zips through
I think I cancelled my previous two blocks a couple weekends ago. I thought I was going to be able to do one tomorrow and grabbed one just in case, but forgot about the stupid new policy. Think consecutive cancelations will get me suspended?
I am looking at phone/tablet controllers and kind of stuck between trying to make the fixed USBC work without having to likely remove my case, or run a BT variant like the Galileo G8 but risk additional latency (cloud stream + BT).
My main phone is the S26U, so apparently has BT 6. Not seeing a controller with BT 6, but I believe the G8+ has BT 5.3?
My plan B is to use my S21U, or older S5e tablet and something like the Razer Kishi V3 Pro XL. Or just a clip for my 8bitdo controller and a PD splitter in case I want to plug in for charge. The latter will technically be limited to my phone unless I sit upright at a table with the tablet properly up.
Anyone go through this dilemma and find a solution? Am I overthinking the latency?
Bought a Fluance RT82 and have a Rolls VP29 around from a while back. Is the PA10 worth getting? I'm willing to do it or another if it makes a difference. I'm listening on Adam monitors or various quality headphones in my home studio.
Just not sure if the real world difference is a thing between these specs of the two.

I was told that Unraid wouldn't benefit too much from running transfers using nvme cache drives as intake. Trying to maximize my workstation/nas/lan abilities and hope to transfer large projects of 300-500gb for example. Theoretically I can transfer over 10G ethernet from nvme drives and be limited to the ~1gb/s speed of the Ethernet connection, but am I overlooking Unraid's abilities in handling that?
