give us perks and perk slots like the witcher 3 did. attack speed, damage, crit-hit % rate, etc. give us unlockable combos or better yet, take the "learning" system from crimson desert and allow us to do the jon jones look see do bullshit right back to them.

also, while you're here. just a small gripe about the game. they have all these aim options for controller, deadzones, response curves, adaptive triggers, X and Y sens, etc. but they somehow forgot to let you turn off their AIDS fucking aim assist that's stronger than a gym girls pussy grip.
it's black ops 1. it's all these iconic characters, in their primes, fighting to save the world from a proper political threat recounting real events and it's a bit more grounded. like i said i love black ops 2 but sometimes it can feel a little superheroey.
2 of which just happen to be getting ported to the PS5, of all things.
it's just cheap disgusting timewasting cooldowns and countdowns that last for eternity designed to siphon player retention and suck every last penny out of the games already syndromical runtime.
i think a part of it is that we don't have world at war. hopefully with the inevitable reception these ports will have we're gonna get that down the line but firing that MP40 and PPSH seems so fun after not really having that for a long time. we don't get many WW2 games anymore.
when i was a kid, if i got bored with a game or i had beaten one and wanted to play another, all i had to do was take the disc out and put the next disc in. i didn't have to wait half a fucking day later for the next game to install. if they truly want to innovate with the next console? and make this shitty physical media destruction worth it a little bit? remove game downloads.
fuck spending $30 - $40 every time i get paid. the $15 one could fill up fucking gina rinehart. easy to save most of my money by cutting that extra cost. maybe grab a cheeky $2 freeze for the walk home. maybe see what snacks are on sale at woolies while i'm there. too easy.

i get paid twice a fortnight and my cenno job seeker pay goes up to $800 when i turn 22 in august. i'm gonna save both pays there too except for the MSG4 and PEACEWALKER ports. then when september hits, i'm gonna cash in my annual $500 cenno loan, sell my PS5 slim in the box for $400 at CEX and buy myself a PS5 PRO and an IPHONE 12 MINI, maybe a new electric guitar and amp from the hock shop up the road.

those games really are gonna be dead on arrival, if everyone buys them, realises it's crammed full of sweats and hackers and dips i won't be surprised. i could be wrong, i could be so wrong that i would even consider buying them myself, but i feel this to be the reality.
MWIII will give me a better grasp on cod as it is now, getting gold camo on the guns i like, hitting quad feeds, quickscopes, maybe even dropping the nuke. it's gonna be a good time and it's gonna cost me way less money.
did MW2019 have the fancy space suits and bunny outfits that infinite warfare had? no. did it have the over the top, saving private ryan campaign featuring esteemed hollywood actors like WW2? no.
but what it DID have, is an unmistakeable aura and a laser focus direction in it's art, it's atmosphere, it's themes and it's immersion. this game i think has that.
it's more just something i enjoy as a hobby. i'm really more than happy to just play simple shit these days. guy with ball, guy with gun, guy with car, guy with sword and magical powers, guy with cape. it's not as deep as it once was for me. when i see people shitting their undies over number values and ethics i just zone out.
leaderboards, boss fights, action packed cutscenes, junk food. it's all i need to be satisfied.
how in 3 hits have you done more damage to my mid section than me throwing body shots for an entire round? even with effective blocking? also, why are MY fucking combos always being interrupted by these single jabs?

if they've refined the boat combat to be a bit easier and more streamlined? maybe i'll like that more but for now just having that classic AC experience again without all the RPG shit will be nice.
