New Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i 14IMH9 (Ultra 5-125H/16GB/512GB/OLED) – Benchmarks, Intel Arc Color Settings, Dolby Atmos Check, Gaming with Controller & Battery Tips?

Just got the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i 14IMH9 with Intel Ultra 5-125H, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and a 14" OLED panel. Have several questions — would appreciate any help!

1. Benchmarks — Best Ways to Test Performance?
What tools should I use to benchmark this machine? Currently considering Cinebench R23/R24, CPU-Z, GPU-Z, and 3DMark. Any others worth running for Intel Arc specifically?

2. Intel Arc Graphics Settings for Best OLED Color Accuracy
What settings in the Intel Arc Control app should I configure to get the most accurate, vibrant colors on this OLED? Should I enable HDR? Any recommended color profile or display enhancement settings?

3. How to Know If Content Is Playing in Dolby Atmos?
On my Google TV, a Dolby Atmos badge pops up on the screen. Does Windows or any app show a similar indicator? How do I confirm Dolby Atmos is actually active while watching content on this laptop?

4. Gaming with a Controller — What Games Run Well?
I know this isn't a dedicated gaming machine, but with Intel Arc graphics, can it handle some games? If I connect an Xbox or PS controller via Bluetooth/USB, what games would you recommend that run well on this hardware?

5. Battery — Charge Time & 80% Charge Limit
The laptop comes with a 65W charger. How long does a full 0–100% charge typically take? Also, is there a built-in Lenovo Vantage setting to cap charging at 80% to reduce battery wear and extend its lifespan long-term?

Any suggestions will be appreciated..

Can you export/backup Arc B580 GPU settings and profile?

I've finally dialed in my Arc B580 settings for smooth performance, and it took a while to get there. Now I'm wondering is there a way to export or back up the current settings and profile from Intel Arc Control?

My main concern is driver updates. If I do a clean installation of new drivers, will my settings get wiped? I really don't want to lose everything and start from scratch again.

Has anyone dealt with this? Any tips would be appreciated!

My ACCA PER supervisor holds an MBA (not CA) and his portal shows IFAC member details incorrectly — can I still claim 2+ years of experience? Need advice!

Hey everyone,

Looking for some guidance from people who've been through the ACCA PER process.

Here's my situation:

  • I've worked under my supervisor for over 2 years
  • He holds an MBA, not a Chartered Accountancy (CA) qualification
  • I need to know if he qualifies as a valid ACCA PER supervisor and whether my 2+ years under him can actually be claimed

On top of that, there's a technical issue when he tried to register as my supervisor on the ACCA portal, it displayed IFAC member details, which is completely wrong since he's not an IFAC member. This is blocking me from recording my PER properly.

I've already raised a case with ACCA, but wanted to hear from anyone who's dealt with similar situations:

  1. Does an MBA holder qualify as a valid PER supervisor?
  2. Has anyone encountered the IFAC member detail bug on the portal? How did you fix it?

Any advice would be genuinely helpful. This is holding up my entire PER submission. Thanks in advance!

New to Stremio – Looking for Hindi/Bollywood movie addons for Google TV + slow streaming issue

Hey everyone, just started using Stremio on my Google TV. Mainly looking for addons that have a good library of Hindi/Bollywood movies. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Also running into a streaming speed issue already set it to "Ultra Fast" in settings but streams are still hitting only 2–3 Mbps. Is there a fix for this or a better way to get faster, more stable playback?

Thanks in advance!

NFS Unbound at High Graphics — GPU hitting 64°C, is this normal? Also trying to reduce CPU temps on Ryzen 7700

Been playing NFS Unbound on my Intel Arc B580 and at high graphics settings, my GPU temps sit around 64°C. Is that a normal and safe range for the B580?

Context: my Ryzen 7700 CPU temps were running high, and someone suggested switching to high/ultra graphics so the GPU takes on more of the workload, reducing CPU load and temps. That logic makes sense to me, but wanted to confirm if it actually works that way.

Also curious what are the recommended Arc B580 settings for NFS Unbound to get the best balance of performance and safe temperatures? Any driver tweaks, Arc Control settings, or in-game options worth adjusting?

Specs: Intel Arc B580 | Ryzen 7700

Just finished MW 2019 – What should I play next, and is there a DODI repack available?

Just wrapped up Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) and loved it. Looking for suggestions on what to try next in the series MW2 (2022), MW3 (2023), or something else entirely?

Also, does DODI have repacks available for the next entry? Any info on availability, size, or installation issues would be helpful. Thanks.

Looking for a streaming site with dual audio + Hindi dubbed movies — like HDHub4u but online?

First off, a big shoutout to everyone sharing streaming sites in this community — platforms like Cinewave and others that people have recommended here are genuinely great, and I appreciate the effort you all put into helping each other out.

That said, I'm looking for something more specific. I need a streaming site that offers dual audio options, especially Hindi dubbed content. Sites like HDHub4u have exactly the kind of library I'm looking for — Bollywood, Hollywood dubbed in Hindi, South Indian dubbed movies, etc. — but I want something I can stream directly rather than download.

So the question is: Is there any streaming site out there that works like HDHub4u but lets you watch online with Hindi dubbed / dual audio support?

Drop your suggestions below — any working sites, alternatives, or tips are welcome. Thanks in advance!

AMD Ryzen 7 7700 Overheating in NFS Heat — Already Used the CMD Fix, Still Getting High Temps. Need Help!

Hey everyone,

My specs:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700
  • GPU: Intel Arc B580
  • RAM: 32GB DDR5

NFS Heat is pushing my Ryzen 7 7700 to 92–94°C under load. Already tried the CMD fix but temps are still high. GPU and RAM aren't the issue this is clearly CPU-bound.

Has anyone found a working solution for this on Ryzen 7000 series? Considering undervolting but not sure where to start. Any advice appreciated!

How to get a driving license in Denmark as an international student — and can you earn money doing trips?

Hey everyone! I'm an international student in Denmark and trying to figure out the process for getting a Danish driving license. I have a few questions and would love to hear from people who've been through this.

What I want to know:

  1. Can I convert my foreign license or do I have to start from scratch with a full Danish driving course (kørekort)?
  2. How long does the process take and roughly how much does it cost? I've heard it can be quite expensive.
  3. Is it even worth getting one as a student, given the cost of living and public transport being solid in most cities?
  4. Can I legally earn money doing trips — like driving for Uber, food delivery, or similar platforms — on a student visa in Denmark? I know there are work hour restrictions, but does driving for app-based platforms count within those limits?

Any advice, personal experience, or links to official resources would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hissing/coil whine sound starts when CPU loads up during boot — Ryzen 7700 + Arctic Freezer 34 Duo

When Windows starts, there's no sound for the first 10 seconds or so. But as soon as apps begin launching and the system fully loads up, a hissing sound starts coming from what seems like the cooler area. I recently cleaned the Arctic Freezer 34 Duo fans and brushed the heatsink, but the sound is still there.

From what I researched, it might be coil whine from the motherboard inductors reacting to sudden CPU power spikes rather than the fans themselves. The fans just spin up at the same time, which makes it confusing.

Has anyone experienced this with the Ryzen 7700? Is there a fix — like adjusting power limits in Ryzen Master or BIOS settings — or is this just something to live with? Any advice appreciated.

B580 User for ~1 Year – Should I Upgrade to the 9060 XT or Stick With It?

Been running the Arc B580 for almost a year now and honestly no complaints so far. Temps stay between 35–50°C, drivers have been solid, and it handles everything I throw at it without issues.

My main games are Valorant and FC26 – both run great on the B580. CPU is an R7-7700.

The only reason I'm even considering an upgrade is the 9060 XT. But given that the B580 is performing well, temps are healthy, and I've had zero driver problems, I'm questioning whether the upgrade is actually worth it.

Anyone else on a similar setup? Would the 9060 XT be a meaningful jump for these titles, or is the B580 still more than enough for competitive/esports gaming? Appreciate any input.

Recently discovered MAS (massgravel/Microsoft-Activation-Scripts) and honestly blown away by how polished and well-maintained it is. As someone new to this side of things, it got me curious are there other similar open-source scripts or tools on GitHub that are worth following?

Looking for:

  • Activation or utility scripts of similar quality
  • Well-maintained GitHub repos in this space
  • Anything interesting/educational to follow and learn from

Not looking for anything sketchy just want to explore more of what's out there and maybe learn how these scripts actually work under the hood. Any recommendations appreciated!

Where to find legitimate WARP+ Unlimited keys, and how to verify them?

I've been looking into getting WARP+ Unlimited and stumbled across some keys being shared on Telegram. However, I'm skeptical about whether they're actually genuine WARP+ Unlimited keys or just regular free-tier keys being passed off as premium.

A couple of questions for anyone with experience:

  1. Are there any reliable sources where legitimate WARP+ Unlimited keys can be found?
  2. How can I actually verify if a key is truly WARP+ Unlimited and not just a standard key? Is there a way to check the data limit or connection type after applying it in the 1.1.1.1 app?

Any tips or insight would be appreciated.

With summer here and ambient temps exceeding 30°C, I decided to cap my CPU TDP to 65W via BIOS to help manage thermals. Not entirely sure how to measure whether this change made a real difference — would appreciate any tips on how to properly compare before/after results using HWiNFO or similar tools.

Here's what I'm observing:

  • Before ECO mode: CPU temps were around 60–70°C during light browsing
  • After enabling 65W limit: Still seeing 60–65°C during light browsing — barely any change
  • Gaming (FC 25): HWiNFO logged a max temp of 92°C, which genuinely worries me

My setup:

  • Built in June 2025
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700
  • Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Duo
  • I clean the fans almost every week

Despite the cleaning and the aftermarket cooler, those temps feel too high. My questions:

  1. Should I keep the 65W TDP limit enabled or revert it?
  2. Is there anything else I can do to bring temps down further?
  3. Could thermal paste be an issue this early into the build?

Any advice is appreciated.

▲ 1 r/chrome

I've been digging into Chrome's hardware acceleration settings and want to understand how it actually works under the hood, not just the surface-level explanation.

Specifically, I have questions:

1. How does it work technically?
When Chrome offloads tasks to the GPU, what exactly is being processed? Is it just rendering and compositing, or does it go deeper like video decoding, canvas operations, WebGL? How does Chrome decide what goes to the GPU vs. staying on the CPU?

2. How can you actually feel the difference?
Honestly, I've toggled it on and off and struggled to notice a clear change in day-to-day browsing. Is the difference only visible in specific scenarios like 4K video, heavy animations, or GPU-intensive web apps? What's the best real-world test to see it in action?

Would love detailed answers from people who actually know what's going on at the GPU/compositor level. Thanks.

AI usage is exploding, and the latest OpenRouter AI Model Rankings make it very clear. This week, Hy3 Preview from Tencent leads with 3.66T tokens and a huge 298% growth, followed by Kimi K2.6 from Moonshotai and Claude Sonnet 4.6 from Anthropic. DeepSeek V4 Flash is also rising fast with one of the biggest jumps in usage.

Tencent now holds the largest market share on OpenRouter, and the overall usage chart shows steady, sharp growth over time. The message is simple: the AI race is moving quickly, and users are constantly shifting to the models that deliver the best results.

Which AI model are you relying on the most right now?

u/hard2resist — 15 days ago

I use Noi from GitHub. It's a great app simple and clean. But the problem is it doesn't work with premium AI models.

What I need:

  • One app where I can use many AI models (like Noi does)
  • Access to models like GPT-4o, Claude, and Gemini either with API keys or built-in
  • Works on desktop (web app is fine too)
  • Simple design, nothing extra

I don't want to open 4 tabs or pay for 3 different apps just to use different AI models. I want everything in one place.

Is it free? Or does it cost money? How much?

Has anyone found a good app like this?

Just getting started with Notion and want to use it for my accounts-related work things like tracking invoices, managing clients, organizing financial records, and general bookkeeping workflows.

I learn best by doing, so I'm looking for practical tutorials, YouTube channels, or structured guides specifically useful for accounting/finance use cases.

Also open to connecting with anyone here who's already using Notion for similar work and wouldn't mind sharing their setup or giving some guidance.

Any recommendations are appreciated tutorials, templates, or just advice on where to start.
