I can’t think of a more Canadian story than this.

Apparently Parks Canada have been spending $6 million a year or so to teach “urban families and newcomers” how to camp. Using city parks and waterways. But now all those pesky homeless Canadians are getting in the way, how dare they!

My favorite part is that 48% of the recipients of this taxpayer camping program, report that they probably wouldn’t ever go camping for real, because it’s too cold and uncomfortable.

Apparently Freson Bros. cashiers wear body cameras??

Given all the recent news with Flock, I was doing a bit of research into the other companies in this space.

That led me to a company called Axon (formerly TASER) and this customer case study they recently published about Freson Bros.

Apparently Freson's has deployed body cameras called Body Workforce and a “AI-powered” cloud data management platform called Axon Evidence across all of 16 their locations. 

The director of IT is quoted as saying: “We felt like if our cashiers are wearing a body cam, they're recording stuff, they should feel safer and more secure."

This whole case study feels insanely dystopian.

But my parents were at our location last week and didn't notice anyone wearing one so idk lol 

Has anyone actually seen employees wearing these??

I would rather commit suicide than be bullied & driving is a priviledge that has been weaponised to operate like the caduceus. So ling as driving functions as it does through out Canada I will always be bullied by the state, so I will always be suicidal. Then shamed for suicidal behaviour to which for the state to function it will tax my labour, which at the point I am suicidal (will be always) will function as a slave revolve.

Me revolting as a slave is taxed & operates through me being human with the caduceus inside of me. I will die eventually, but not as a slave. I would rather run away from my taxes than live another day like this.

That is why I want to run away.

The state needs to allow its citizen to identify as slaves because thats what they are: why do we have nation states? They only cause suffering & a humans goals is to reduce such behaviour, why not start a slave revolt, then?

Taxation is actually theft, as the state is organised today. Don't masquerade anymore, mental illness is a function of sexual oppression & slavery is obviously oppressive, it's your fault there is nothing worth living for anymore & why we have post modernism.

Manufacturing has to be brought back state side or else the state will see a slave revolt' is what your critical thinking skills should tell you under this system & if they're not, I'm telling you to think that & that its okay to think that.

You have no critical thinking skills & besides it being your fault, it's literally the fault of the state.

Revolt; runaway & while you run, ask yourself: do I have what it takes to run this country...

So long as the government taxes labour & not land, society will be ran by business men & not the government. Canada's legal system is ran by stupid people who can't produce justice but are to ashamed of it to confront it, those people are all mentally ill then.

Our country is ran by mentally ill humans. It's so heinous I am in a cycle of suicidality. I don't care if 'suicidality' is a word because all words are meaningless, this is the post modern condition.

Sexual opression is the root of the post modern condition & to fight the dlaverybit creates, thats effects you & us & them you need to learn how to run away & be given the chance to run away.

I'm honestly really frazzled and frustrated with everything going on at the moment, I worked for a business on Whyte ave for 6 months, I quit back in June (he should have legally paid me months ago) because the working conditions were extremely poor and I wasn't being paid on time. I even made a Reddit post because I was scared of being wrong about my rights. I've been just trying to move on with life but it's a bit frustrating seeing as the better baker owner (my former employer) recently blew up on Instagram over a croissant making it very hard to ignore. (4 million views type of blowing up) He makes a point to say that he gave an influencer free food and how that really annoyed him when they allegedly didn't post (which he shows zero evidence of mind you), which is funny because he hasn't paid me for 128 working hours. 5 shifts a week for a whole month, where I opened and closed the store, where I tried my hardest to be the best employee I could be all to not get paid ANY OF IT. So he gets to be all mad about free pastries, but I'm not allowed to be upset about my rights being violated? Talk about hypocrisy...

He owes me 2584 dollars, 353 of which are my unpaid vacation hours because he can't follow simple laws and doesn’t care to pay overtime either…

I have 5 other employees who are owed money still, two of which haven’t worked there in almost a year. 3/6 of us have had the government declare that he owes them money, when officers try and reach out he just doesn’t respond and then their cases go to collections. The other 3 are waiting up to 22 WEEKS for their applications to even be reviewed, but we know that even after the government says we are owed money the same thing will just keep happening. Our total is more than 10k dollars, hundreds of hours of work that we haven’t been paid for. I’m just praying the people of Edmonton will have our backs, that they will see that we are just trying to be compensated for all of our hard work. The economy is already bad enough, why are people who are just trying to get by forced to undergo all this additional stress?

I truly believe small businesses are the backbone of our community, however the workers at a small business shouldn’t have to suffer because of a bad owner.

Edit: to anyone saying the timing is convenient you can check my account and see if posted in June asking for advice about quitting there!!

His company name is better baker inc. BTW search that up instead and see that there are unpaid claims? Also I can’t add more than one photo to a post, you guys want proof so bad how about you listen to the people telling you themselves. >!Maybe unlock it and I’ll add him telling me “he’s getting to it” when I asked for my money, I’ll add him ignoring my employment standards complaint after HE told me to email him.!<
