Now when it spins the padel falls right out. Is this because that black ring is what holds it in place? There’s also damage to the padel but the padel still holds well without that black ring but falls off when it starts spinning.
Replace both or should I get away with just replacing the lid and I assume the lid with the broken off ring is the fix for my issue?

I’m quite a confident person who’s not afraid to be their authentic self. I realise that my family is only able to relax and regulate if I add performative warmth to what I’m saying to them.
If I talk in a normal voice about normal things without being fake upbeat and smiley they appear to just switch off and close off and barely even respond to what I’m saying.
Basically they are entirely reliant on my choice of interaction style and they will match however I choose to show up.
It’s a bit draining as I want to show up genuinely but I do also want them to feel comfortable and able to open up but they want the performance version evidently as that version I assume makes them not judge themselves (there’s a lot of mental illness in my family and I’ve worked on mine and overcome it and they are still with theirs, for context).
I don’t know if anyone relates or if there’s a way to change this dynamic? Thanks :)
My first bad vinted experience had to happen eventually. They listed a jacket as brand new without tags. The jacket arrived and had no zip.
First tried to offer me £2 compensation which I laughed at.
Then they tried to claim that the jacket was sent with a zip. But when I showed them there was no visible zip in the original picture (which I only noticed after comparing it to mine) they tried to gaslight me into saying well I should have not bought it if I saw that and that’s it’s my fault.
The second more clear image is the one I took when it arrived btw. It wasn’t noticeable in their pic till I compared after it arrived.
First off gaslighting saying there was a zip, then clearly knowing there wasn’t a zip after I showed the evidence gaslighting again by saying it’s my fault for not checking the pictures (it’s hard to fully see if there is a zip and they listed it as brand new lol).
Somehow they have great reviews. I assume with all this evidence vinted support will surely side with me here?

All the gears feel like gear 1 when pedalling 1-6 and there’s only tension in gear 7? I’ve tightened the brakes that did nothing I went to re-shift the gears but they shift perfectly. Bike chain and bike cables and pads are brand new basically.

My mum saw me repost this post and accused me of being narcissistic. I know it’s a classic of mothers with narc traits to put this back on their children.
But the point of the video isn’t even about ego. It’s about self love. Or do you think it is a bit ego driven? In my opinion the video is about loving yourself because only you know you best. Wanted a second opinion though.
My mum is always trying to label me this way tbh because she’s never had self confidence and is a covert narc and has those traits. So I’m her mind I am a grandiose one when I’m just confident. The very fact I am here questioning how the post comes across shows I’m willing to be wrong.

None of the flex cables look damaged but it won’t turn on no matter what I try. I can feel the phone still working and physically reacting but there’s no picture on the screen.
Top flex cable has been removed already to add to a new screen but I can try something else first.
I guess even though there’s no visible damage to the flex cables the screen got cooked during the screen removal? Is there something else I can try before buying a new screen?

My dad is legit unable to make eye contact with anyone in the family. His eyes dart around the room and never make eye contact with anyone.
He is able to make eye contact with strangers because he feels he has to. I guess with us he feels comfortable to just be himself.
But me as someone who’s really good at eye contact I always find it strange and a bit hard to connect with him because of this.
Does this sound like possible autism?
