Anxiety has ruined gaming for me

Frame rate, input lag, color calibration, hdr, these bring me anxiety. I really enjoy playing video games but I basiclly can't anymore. Its been my main hobby my entire life, I dont want to let to go but its overwhelminly stressful playing any. I'm constantly checking input and frames. None of my devices can run perfectly theres always a big issue with it. Some of it makes no sense. My phone cant really run minecraft dispite other people with a weaker phone playing just fine.

My iphone uses more active cores than my friends with the same phone

Restarted both. No apps running. Ios 26 both. Only thing I've found is disabling bluetooth on mine slightly lowers it.

Too much input delay on TV

LG C5 42. Playing 2D games like Mario World is rough. I've tried so much to fix it I don't know how. Boost and PC doesn't help it.

I've tried

4:4:4

Boost mode

PC mode

None of it fixes it

My monitor (?) is much slower than it should be

I have a LG C5 42. Comparing the input lag to my switch 2 handheld its worse. I was playing Mario World and I was thinking this felt really bad. I messured to the same frame Mario jumped in 240fps slow motion and rewinded it to when I hit the buttom. I ran 4 tests on my TV and all the buttons were hit before the handheld was. All wireless joycons connected.

Weirdly enough, disabling 4:4:4 made it faster. However it still wasn't as fast. Input lag was on boost.

Does Quick Frame transport even work if connected to a PS5?

I assumed it was a TV system setting but according to Google the PS5 doesn't support it? Would it make a difference?

How can I test my reaction time?

I would like a mode where you wait then a circle appears on screen and you shoot it and it says your time.

How much of a difference does Boost vs Standard make for input delay on the LG C5 42?

A month ago I made a video that showed 0 difference between the 2. Today I tested it again, maybe I messed something up last time. I still couldn't see a difference. Is there any on the 42?

What is the best thing a stupid person can do to avoid causing problems?

This week I damaged my phone screen protecter, got scammed out of $50, flodded a room in my basement, and ruined several pictures at work because I didn't think to put them in my coat when it was raining. My boss said hes pissed.

Is rhyme zome an alright resource?

On the rhyme zone website you can search by descritive word. For example, if I search sidewalk, I can see empty sidewalk, cobbled sidewalk, rough sidewalk, litterd sidewalk, etc. Is this a resourse I can use or is it a computer writing for me instead? I don't know where the line is and where it blurs.

Is CE-108255-1 always a user issue?

I've been basiclly fighting activision in support email to accept that there is a bug in their game (BO2 PS5) that is causing a crash. Multiple people have had the same crash using the same gun. CE-108255-1

Actvision keeps closing my ticket and saying that crash is always causes by a faulty console or faulty gam files. I'm saying its not because I can replicate the crash and others can too.

I dunno what to do about a silly color issue

I have a stupid problem with colors. Don't know why but I need screen colors to be perfectly accurate. Its specificlly colors, I don't care about 4K or any of such. If I know a color is off I spend hours calibrating. Most often to no results.

My monitor and TV both have innacurate colors. My monitor has reds too pink. My TV blues too purple and my white point is incorrect. I have spent hours calibrating and losing sleep. Every few weeks I get so annoyed I flip everything to black and white. And can handle it for a few hours before needing color. The longest I've went is a week but whenever I looked at my screens I almost threw up. I still get that feeling now when looking at grays which is interesting.

If I could get black and white glasses I would. I think the issue is seeing the world in color but not on screens. The whiplash wasnt good.

I cannot afford a colorimeter, nor do I have a computer to work it.

I have tried to play games in handled and its better. However my hands are almost always sweaty and sticky. If I eat meat, ketchup, or anything in that very non specific group my body sweats bad. Its fixable but just eating sandwhiches everyday but I'm sick of them. Handhelds are much harder to clean compared to a controller.

I genuinlly think quitting gaming is my best option to do.

Is there anyway to disable the slow down on zombies? I've looked through settings but I don't have an option to disable it. I dont see high round players with it

How are console bo2 players supposed to train zombies?

I've downed several times because I couldnt move my camera fast enough. It slows down to a crawl when looking at zombies. How do people handle this?

What lore peice got dropped for no good reason?

My example is Victis trapped in a loop. Each time they die they restart. You can see this in buried and die rise. Thats not canon anymore and I don't see a good reason for it not to be. It means the die rise intro is non canon. I know it can still be seen as a larger cycle but it heavily implies its instant. Same with their dead bodies in buried.
