The temple of time seems to be around 20 meters tall. Hyrule castle doesn't look much bigger to me, similar thing in BOTW (execpt that castle is big) every other building seems small.

I quickly pick up on the way people speak and mimic without noticing it. I mimic the tone and word choice. If i watch one youtube video I start talking like who I watched. I don't know why I do this so fast. Im 19.

Builds look cool with gradients, but placing them and figuring out which block goes where is hell. It sucks the joy out of building. I don't know what to do. Does anyone else feel like this?

I'm trying to texture and gradient my builds but it feels unfun. I want to be able to enjoy building again without having to literally study how, but I feel like I'm missing out if I don't do it. I dunno, it feels like people when building, are trying to make it not look like minecraft. I guess I perfer builds that look like Minecraft.

Could anyone who builds more simple (I mean just not photo realistic) please show me some builds?

I still play modern minecraft and don't want to go back to older. The current building trend is too much for me, I miss the days when it was simpler. When I didn't have to research and study.

Also I want to use newer blocks. I love using different blocks. I feel like the only way I can use diorite is with texturing.

People often talk about how old building is gone. Nobody builds simple anymore. Execpt I think thats much fair from the truth. I think people only assume this because complex is how youtubers build.

Theres a problem. Thats their job. I would bet money that the average minecraft player, probably most of the people reading this, build much simpler. Maybe not flat colors, but in a style some consider "extinct." I would argue its still the most popular style.

I used to have Minecraft as that outlet. I wanted to make my builds look better so I tried to improve. It led to me missing sleep some nights because I wanted to build and make it look good. It became very bad.

I started following guides and copying them inside of building my own. Worked for a while, but it started becoming unfulfilling, now I just want to design again. I'm getting trapped in the same hellish loop. Even at work I'm going to the bathroom more often just to build. I hate doing it.

I tried other outlets to handeld wanting to be creative. But none others work. I want to build. I want to play minecraft. I can't build. I'm wasting so much time trying to build. Its an addiction.

I wish I could follow guides and feel completed after. I can't, only building works. I have a very addictive personality type.
