Potential Tetas Scam????

So I think there was a post yesterday about someone selling Frozen Tetas in Bushwick - they’ve since deleted their Reddit account + all comments + the Venmo account I donated to. I am just wondering if anyone else is seeing the same…I reported to Venmo as a scam in case they try and resurface. What a bummer & such a terrible use of sympathy.

In case they come back, wanted to post here as a warning!

My landlord is trying to steal the bodega cat

Hey there all - local Bushwick man here with a bit of a conundrum. I walked into my home today and my landlord offered me a cat. More specifically the bodega's cat. It's a kitten they've been let roam around (I disagree with that choice), but it has a collar. It's white, grey tail and seen around Myrtle.

My landlord has become obsessed with it, and we've noticed that he's been feeding it and putting the food closer and closer to the door. Today, my wife stepped in tuna walking out of the house. So I come inside and the cat is in our hallway, and he said "hey man you want this cat? If not im giving it to my friend." I said "I don't think that's your cat to give, it belongs to the bodega". He then went into a long rant about how if they cared so much it would be here (he's been baiting it with food), and that it's not safe on the road (again, his fault because he's baiting it). I told him, "Bud, it's your life- and i'm not gonna tell you what to do, but don't go snatching people's cats - especially when everyone is going to know it was you".

Now I know it's true that the bodega keeps letting it out, and they really shouldn't. I've seen reddit posts about it asking if someone knew the owner. Anyway, it ended in a long rant about him being him for 50 years, and not being afraid of bodega people. He got pissed at me and stomped up the stairs, muttering about how it's going to his friend. My wife snatched the cat back, brought it to the bodega, and let em know what's going on.

Now we're between this somehow - and I don't know what I'm supposed to do? And before anyone asks, he's crazy - this isn't like an old lonely man thing. This is like an old former drug addict who inherited his grandfather's home and uses it to torture the residents as a way to sate his loneliness kinda sitch (rent is cheap tho). He will retaliate for this, no doubt, for getting between him and his plans. I could have not lectured him, but he involved me once he offered me a stolen cat. I'm watching a slow crime in the making and I can't stop it, also I hate this - it's fucking Monday maaaan.

Update: My wife found the couple he offered the cat to on the street - stopped them from coming. He told them he found a starving cat and it needed help, and they offered to come get it. She walked them to the bodega and gave everyone the run down. They were super confused, just trying to do the right thing and he lied.

Update: Of course the cat is already back outside the bodega and on our side of the street again.

Ladies, please be careful of your surroundings! (And this creep.)

Witnessed creep behavior today. Took the Q65 today to Flushing on a rather crowded bus. I noticed this guy standing rather closely behind this girl and initially thought they were together. They definitely weren't, and he had been standing directly behind her all up in her personal space, leaving little to no space between them for quite some time. (I don't know when it started but it was long enough for me to notice and I'm usually in my own head.) When there were spots freed up, he continued to stand directly behind her and did not move. At one point, I witnessed him holding his phone (with the screen turned on) at hip level (I could not confirm if he was taking photos of her or trying to get upskirt shots).

Bus pulled up to her stop and I watched to make sure that she was able to get off the bus safely since his arm was in her way from accessing the back exit. I ended up getting off the bus as well (I was intending to get off at the stop after hers) and talked to her to tell her what happened and to tell her to be more careful. She had no idea this guy was standing behind her for quite some time and was very uneasy (I was too after finding out she was a minor).

Edit: For those asking why I didn't say something in the moment, I would have had it not been for my own personal experiences. I am petite. I have no way of defending myself without getting hurt. I've been beaten for speaking up before. Please don't get me wrong, if I was strong enough, physically bigger, or even taller, I would've stepped in. I've grown up in a violent household. It's not always the best idea to speak up in the moment. It was not my intention to escalate the situation. I don't know if this man would have reacted violently. I couldn't tell if he would have backed off and moved away if I said something.

He was closer to the bus driver than I was and the front of the bus was packed. There were multiple opportunities that opened up, allowing him to move away from her. However, at one stop, people eventually got on the bus from the back.

The girl and I exchanged contact information. She is alright and asked me for the photo when I initially approached her about the information.

The best thing you can do for yourself is try to be aware of your surroundings.
