About 7 months ago, I had a very bad encounter with this woman after meeting her late at night on knickerbocker. I had my personal belongings, wallet and money stolen. I was also assaulted. Police reports were filed at the time and I went straight to the ER. She is extremely dangerous and up until yesterday I had forgot the incident.
I had not seen her again until yesterday near five below on knickerbocker, where I recognized her wearing one of the items taken from me). I managed to take a blurry photo. She was also seen late at night 4am by the M knickerbocker train sitting area (near qdoba)

Please stay careful, especially late at night. If anyone recognizes her or has had similar experiences, please consider contacting police. Or please contact me here as I have a private detective for my case.

Here is a picture that I took of her yesterday, I tried to contact authorities but she had left the area. I have ample evidence and a case file with 83rd precint against the assualt, but she hasn’t been caught yet. Stole my wallet and charged $500 at the Snipes on knickerbocker. I have rarely encountered a politician so desperate to market herself as JR. She seems to want to be all things to all people.
I've always wanted to walk every block of the city but knew the overhead of tracking those walks would be a pain, so over the last couple months I made an app that checks off each block once you've walked it. Some friends wanted to try it so I just uploaded it to the App Store.
It works for all 5 boroughs and you can turn on passive tracking so that your blocks are tracked without opening the app. There's also a leaderboard so you can see how your stats compare to other New Yorkers.
The app is called WalkNYC and it's completely free. It's only on iOS right now but I'm looking into porting it to Android. Would love any feedback you all have!

It’s only brought to demonize black people. In addition other races have a wicked history then black people ever had. Also, white have they own gangs and so do Asians but never promoted as serious as black people even though is probably worse.

I'm a real estate agent in Brooklyn. Maybe I was having an off day because I'm usually good at navigating unexpected questions. But I had a client tour an apt today (Sunday @ noon) that was a 5min walk from MHP, right off Jefferson St. First thing she says to me is - "as they were driving from manhattan to Bushwick, they felt like it wasn't safe"...
Maybe I should take a break from this job but I genuinely got so annoyed by that. I've lived in Bushwick for 5yrs. I'm a young female who grew up in a small city.
People like this think Manhattan is superior, even though in my opinion there isn't any difference in terms of safety. I've seen more crazy stuff in the city than I ever have in BK, especially Bushwick.
Why would you not do your research on neighborhoods.
As soon as she said that, I looked up at the plethora of hipsters walking around with their lattes from the cute coffee shop around the corner (no shade) and older Hispanic men/women chilling on the stoops playing music.... and I just thought to myself... are you literally blind and ignorant.
No matter where you are it's better to keep an eye on your surroundings... that's just a given.

Hey, I'm moving to nyc with 2 bros in a few weeks for our residency and we visited some 3 bedroom luxury appartements in Mott Haven (Maven, Lincoln, 322 Grand Concourse, etc.). Does anybody who live in the area tell me what they think about the places? Also, which building would you guys recommend between Maven, 322 grand concourse and 276 grand concourse ?
